I have NO trading experience with DBFX. I only use their datafeed, because it is really fast, reliable and the dynamice spread does offer lots of information about the actors ....

Hi guys in this year I finished flat. I lost all my profits which I made in first half now in second half. I failed over and over again. If I'm honest I didn't follow the FTI's approach, because the only thing I don't like is sending rescue trips (=average down), because If you use this improperly you are gonna die and I think that fact FTI always stress. Another thing is that I tried to trade fundamental disequilibrium and I still think it's the best if you can find market disequilibrium but there is a problem. Because meanwhile when market is far from sound level, fundamentals can change a lot so once this market price becomes valid, you can loose a lot of money because market continues to go against your interpretation of fundamentals. If you trade short term, there is a high risk of getting slaughtered between market orders , so its not also the low risk system. What I want to conclude is that I really got my ass kicked this year, what is very difficult for a 19 years old ambitious boy who has no money, but one good thing is that I never give up what I learned from cycling. But I'm certain that I have to learn much more about my opponent. I hope others perform well

Hi, can you post a chart ? My perspective of what you wrote above is that you are mixing up personal opinions with what's going in the market, pretty bad recipe. Use simple TA to help you gauge market form, but don't super impose them on your charts lest you become rigid, keep it at the back and take a look when you are confused.

Hi Mijamoto. I am in very similar position... Now i work on my system, study hard and do tests and researches. I try to take informations like they will work for me. Every person-different mind. So i realized, that i have to adopt these great info, this thread provides for my own. Without this, no bussiness. And i am looking for my own scorpions... Work, work, work. Regards

Do not lock yourself into the thought process of a system, there is no system in this methodology. Historical price action is no guarantee that it will repeat. Drill that into your head.... because price did something last time when it looked like this, does not mean it will happen again.

When it does great, but its how we handle it when it does not, that governs to our ability to succeed.

Auxesis : Yes, question for me was, how to trade with using fti s teaching. I discovered after 5 month, that i try to concentrate to so lots of things, that my brain is overloaded. Mix principles, trading style, snowballs... And i did such mistakes. Example: 8000pips loss in one trade.
And this is also, why i sometimes ask some "strage" question. I have to stabilize, absorb... slowly... FTIs teaching is not possible for me to handle in couple of months...
I have to conclude that i VERY APPRECIATE every help from you and others and that i go on and continue strong learning. Regards

The tiers mentioned in the article is more inclined to broking tiering of spot forex interbank. The direct spot interbank tiers are differently structured. Nevertheless direct spot interbank has little relevence for retail understanding, except for the banks concerned. So generally, there is no harm done, the structure proposed , is good enough for retail players general knowledge.

, To me Saxo is akin to a techie experiment, trying to imitate the real stuff. Far from it, my friend, lots of hype , little delivery.) Maybe if they get more real dealers to direct them than IT dreams. Maybe one day they will meet to standards.

Just because they drive a car with a sports car design, doesn't mean its so under the hood.More over to belive that they can fly is funny, very funny. I tried go for a joy flight, as they advertised. it crashed. That was sometime back, I hope they had made amendments.

worst of all, they blamed my inexperience. What a joke. Wait till they read my credentials. These people may be too proud , to understand that they had err.

ah yes a talk on brokers..
I been with OANDA demo-ing the last month or so, was with DBFX before and now just started on SAXO. OANDA's spreads are really to die for... can barely even get spreads like that in the interbank markets on the EUR/USD. OANDA seems the best of the lot for me.. but, a major concern is how they disconnect you from time to time... I am still fresh in this retail brokerage game.. can somebody with experience with OANDA enlighten me? as I am probably a whisker away from depositing some serious cash with them..

*I am referring to OANDA sg.

Happy trading day to everyone. Glad to see some chatter on the thread today. Markets seem kind of quiet today so maybe the Holiday slowdown is underway. I will be the optimist today and will baby sit my charts for a few more hours. Good trading everyone.
