I have changed the posting area from the "Do you believe in a Holy Grail" area to the trading journal as suggested. Hopefully I will get a little less flack from sharing what I believe is the best EA in the world. It really is a set and forget money making machine. Only needs one adjustment per month, and that is right before NFP.

This is running on a demo account with Alpari. It was started with 1 million dollars on November 11, 2009.

Because of the 9 pairs being traded this is very difficult, and probably at the end of the day not too useful.

The brokers don't give you dinero for having a pretty backtest. lol

This looks like a typical martingale or grid EA curve.

Could you please integrate this: http://codebase.mql4.com/6217 into the EA and produce a proper equity chart (because the account balance alone is meaningless since it shows only half of the information)?

Our programmer designed the EA. I will talk to him to see if will integrate the code.

This will be the last demo equity curve posted for the BB EA. The rest that will be posted will be from my live account. This might be interesting for those that like seeing EA's run on live rather than demo accounts.

Hmm, you could be. However, the most primitive 'gales tend to produce sharp downward equity spikes followed by a slow clawing back.

Looks like each upward spike is followed by a mirror image downward one, so one obvious improvement (assuming that this is a regular occurrence) would be not to take the trade(s) immediately following any sudden equity gain.

Given the shape of the curve, I'd say there's definitely some 'artificial' MM involved. Apparently there's been only 450 trades thus far. Let's just say that there is no such thing in forex as return without commensurate risk, however deeply veiled that risk might be.

There is martingale involved in this EA, with sophisticated logic programmed within trading ranges. The live accounts will be posted soon.

Assuming that the "sophisticated logic programmed within trading ranges" provides a robust edge, there's no need to take on the significant risk that's inherent in Martingale. Unless the larger position sizes somehow coincide with higher probability trades, progressive sizing systems have no effect on long term expectancy. The primary goal of MM should always be capital preservation.

In the past I would have totally agreed with you, if I would not have seen for myself how our live accounts are doing. I believe we have found an edge in that regards to the issues you are referring to.

Nice curve.

I'm gonna try and play 'guess this ea'.

Could be mGrid or vGrid. Could be Blessing in disguise. Definately not V1V2.

I suspect the edge is in your entry filter.

Could you describe a bit more about the exact strategy being executed.
