Hi,
My name is Matt Tabone but on these forums I'm more known as MTaboneWeb. Over the past 12-15 months I've not posted a thing due to the path change that I chose back in August 2008. Over that time I've spent a very large amount of my time writing and supporting my own EAs.
I'm sure my reputation is extremely mixed on this site and I ask only one thing... Take a look at my site. From there I would hope that you see an individual who has gone out of his way with support for those who've supported him. I take great pride in what I do and strive to provide my members with the most complete support I can give. I don't hold back when results are bad and I don't pad results or show less than accurate strategy tester results and promise the world. I simply ask that you take a look at the site and judge for yourself. The only things you will not see on there are the EAs for downloading which are only available to my Lifetime Members.
Please be aware that registering on the forum and participating in any threads is 100% free. I would encourage anyone interested to first register for the forum and spend some time getting familiar with what is being offered and how it is supported.
With that being said I would like to explain what the MTaboneWebForex forum is all about.
I started the forum as a way for me to support the EAs that I have written. Some of the EAs were written to trade systems that I created while others have been written to trade systems that other people have freely shared on one or more public sites. All EAs offered on the forum have been written by me from the ground up without using anyone Else's code. Here are some of the things you will find on the forums for free...
The forum was created in mid-August 2008 and has grown from 6 initial EAs to 14 EAs (at this time), 200+ users, and more than 2,700 posts.
One of my biggest accomplishments has been to create my EA Data Analyzer application. This application is run locally on a users PC and uploads trade data to a central database. The information collected includes everything you would want to know about a single trade... Which symbol, time frame, EA running and what were the settings, what broker, etc. All of this information is important because it means that no user has to manually post their results anymore. There is no need for "Hey, those are good results... what did you do and how?" The other side of this special project is the EA Data Analyzer website (in development). This website will allow users to really drill down into all of the completed trades and see for themselves just what has worked and also what hasn't worked. As you can imagine this is a large project for a single developer but I am making progress everyday. It's very exciting... This application has been in use for some time now by many of my users and has collected over 18,000 completed trades to date. Of course this will be an optional setting in all EAs to enable/disable the functionality and it's only compatible with the Eas that I've written.
On the forum you will find that I don't pull punches. I give you 100% true feedback and results whether they are good or bad. I am up front about plans for new EAs and features and what I'm currently working on. I make myself available to all those who've chosen to support me along the way. Support is what the whole site was built for and the primary reason for the fee. I rarely ever make anyone wait more than a couple of hours for a response and I'm open to discussion about the EAs and the paths they take.
The General section includes announcements keeping you up to date on what's happening on the forum as well as broker and general discussion sections.
The Development section is where you'll find threads that support EAs that have been developed and an EA request section where users can request EAs to be written for new systems. There are also sections for indicators and requests for new indicators as well. Each EA/indicator that is developed is supported by it's own thread which can include support videos showing how to use the EA, the results it's produced so far, etc. These threads also include feedback from users including their results, suggestions for bug fixes, enhancements, etc. I do not filter out any comments. I only ask that posting be done in a positive/respectful manner.
The Information section is where you will find helpful topics, tips, tricks, etc.
A Lifetime membership means you'll have access to everything without ever having to pay another dime. You get every EA that I've developed so far and any EA I develop in the future. Period.
