Hi All,

I'm a rare poster on these boards as have too little free time. I'm also a member of Jacko's group and wanted to offer an opinion.

Over the years I've set up 4 companies and spent a considerable amount on "expert" advice, training and so on. Some good, some bad. I've been trading forex for a while and making a reasonable amount from it for the past year.

To my mind the expense of belonging to Jacko's group is no different to any of the other business expenses I've incurred over the years. It's relatively inexpensive ($700 I think) which is about the same as I've paid "experts" for two days work in the past. For that I get a year of his training. Excellent value if you ask me, just wish I could hire people to train my staff as cheaply!

I don't believe that was the premise at all - what I saw (perhaps mistakenly) was that, for those that chose to share their experience, joining a determined group has helped them in their trading thus far - being consistent is another matter as that is purely up to the individual as it has more to do with pschology self discipline and a series of factors which no one can instill in someone if they aren't prone to them. Consistency cannot be taught - it has to be laerned - no way around it - however that does not mean that a method or system cannot be consistent in itself - however it will always rely on a person pulling the trigger as it were - therein lies the difference.

It seems to me a guilty until proven innocent stance has been decided. The absence of intention to make P/L statements public does not mean that the results aren't there.All the moreso when there is a public thread where trades were posted live over a 6 month period and again, no one has EVER come out in public to make any kind of statement that Jacko is a fake.Opinions of whomever are worth nil without correct information to base that opinion on - and further, one may contend that proof be provided to support the statement that they are experienced or seasoned before even taking into account what they have to say....given that in all cases everyone and anyone is entitled to having an opinion and voicing it.

Yes - there are scams out there - and many of them . however until there is tangible proof that they ARE a scam then they must be treated as legitimate or at the very least given the benefit of the doubt.

To put things in perspective allow me an analogy:

You live in an apartment complex....turns out X % (put in any number you prefer) of your neighbours are either drug traffickers, murderers or rapists....police raid the place and haul you to jail. You are to provide evidence of your innocence relating to such activites or you will suffer their same fate. After all you live in the same building thus by definition you are a criminal as well. Imagine if the police don't even like you (given they are actually elected officials and not a lynch mob out for blood - any blood) what do you think would happen even if you were to provide the evidence they seek? Yes. You would get your sorry a$$ nailed to the wall in anycase.

I simply do not question them or their system.

I think we can safely agree those are potential no brainers....I say potential because I would have to necessarily apply the benefit of the doubt...but I don't think I'd be wanting to know more about what they have to offer..

but thats just me.

Either way,

If there is no credible proof or any verified records, it is not worth paying money for it.

Fact is this: according to the moderators, signal services are banned from participating in the commercial forum (It can be read in the opening posts of the commercial thread).

I strongly believe that the service in question (or its proprietor) does not trade (or take) the signals he sends out by SMS text message. I have asked numerous times to get some evidence that all the claims being made on the web blog are real (and not simple unsubstantiated claims). With no luck.

The web blog states that there is no way of cheating if the trades are announced before they happen - my reply to this was this: I can tell people every day when and where to buy in advance - but that does not mean that I take the trades.

The followers replied that it does not really matter if it helps their trading. That maybe so, but without any proof that the trades are taken in reality (with verifiable evidence), this would constitute a violation of the rule which states that 'signal services' are banned.

If signals are sent out by SMS (for a fee) and there is no proof that the sender does take the trades as claimed (in number and size), then is plain and simple a 'signal service'.

I have written a related complaint to the moderators which has been ignored as well communicated with other long standing members who were in agreement about the matter. It seems that FF is not interested to get to the bottom of this.

So, my warning to any of the new readers is to be very very careful when venturing in here - not everything is face value.

He runs a Fund as well - which is regularly audited.

If it is a regulated entity, it is public - this is not the secret service here.

There is no confidentiality agreement that could stop you from telling the funds name and/or web address.

People, this is ridiculous: when does one in here ever get a straight answer to a straight question?

Ever since I have become involved in this thread and have asked one simple question, all I have gotten in return are evasive answers and diversions.

The reason is that there are no statements and there is no fund - and I am certain of that. I have instigated some enquiries of my own and all I received so far points in the same direction. Once I have all the results, I will post them here to confirm my suspicions.

You'll never get a straight answer from these people because there are no records to show (consistent) profitability, there are no verifiable accounts, heck there aren't even any live trade calls! They're all hysterical (ooops, Freudian slip, I mean 'historical') results based on hindsight, such as describing how they made hundreds of pips last week and how Jacko is a great trader trading 100's of lots and running some secret gigantic fund.....but absolutely no evidence, like I say not even a profitable trade called in advance!

Under the circumstances what else can they do other than blow smoke and attempt to shift focus away from themselves?

The lack of anything to substantiate their claims has become a standing joke now, the reasons are so glaringly obvious to even the most challenged among us, I'm really not quite sure who they think they're kidding!

I have found what looks like another blog. If you run any alternative asset management company or hedge fund, you will need an address, auditors, accountants etc. The fact that neither is visible looks suspicious. There are no entries in either Hong Kong or UK domiciled company registers (which are the main centres for limited co's).

If the blog is as badly constructed and marketed as the main one that can be accessed on the web, it does not exude much confidence for any potential investor.

For now, I am still not labelling either of the 'businesses' a scam - but I would say that I am not very far from having enough proof to disclose the claims made as nothing but hot air.
