Last Tuesday in maths the tutor was writing number sequences on the white-board... and ended with the sequence... 1,1,2,3,5... I said 'Fibonacci', and he replied 'How do you know that Leon?'. I told him it was a long and rather worthless story and left the conversation right there.

But:

instead of going about this subject of Fibs with a pinch of sarcasm and the kind of ' I know it all, tried it all but doesn't work etc. ' approach, why don't you try and challenge me with a more positive kind of approach (and perhaps a more humble attitude I dare to say?), no good? Wouldn't this work for you?

Further:

There is tons of material here on FF and elsewhere about Fibonacci, but none of any of this material in my humble opinion, touches the CONCEPT, I repeat: the concept and nature of what the Fibonacci growth/retraction sequence and above all; the depth and understanding of this subject is all about. On my posted charts I reveal one hand-breadth and cover up two at the same time. Arguing, and having a confrontation with you or anyone else here for that matter? No, thank you. But nonetheless: I am the one (guilty here) having posted some charts to start with (with no explanation of such whatsoever); fine, you have a point, but at the same time I don't have to take your 'bashing' either, right?; that is a fair enough point, no? Anyway, enough of this already.
