Highlight OrderSend and hit F1.
1) note the function returns an integer -
that is an important number - use it
2) tp and sl are in price, not pips
3) use GetLastError

I have just uploaded a new script in the first thread. Do you know why that doesnt work?

insert this after your print statement:
Print("err msg: " + ErrorDescription(GetLastError()));
ps: also, if you are on a 5-digit broker your points will not work.

I don't get an error message. I am on a 4 digit broker.

I changed the first print command to an order command and it tells me that this is the error. "ERR_STRING_PARAMETER_EXPECTED4062String parameter expected."

the first parm must be symbol

But how do I do that? It works if I just write symbol() but it is not the current symbol I need. That's why I use marketinfo.

I just found the answer. I still get an error 130 but it works.

ticket=OrderSend("GBPUSD",OP_BUY,0.1,MarketInfo("GBPUSD",MODE_ASK),3,MarketInfo("GBPUSD",MODE_ASK)-20*Point,MarketInfo("GBPUSD",MODE_ASK)+22*Point);
