I think it supports H8. You need to have H1 open, put the period converter on it with the parameter 8, so that you will have the H8 offline data. You also need to open an H8 chart, just an H8 chart with no indicators on. Then, you will have MTF Trix Meter working for H8. The problem is that you cannot see the lable "h8", in stead of which you will see "???".
That is what I think. I did not test it. Correct me if I am wrong.

I am refining a few areas, not just trade management.

It is to suit my personality and commitments.It may not suit another trader as it involves fibonanci as S&R and profit targets.

i m new in this thread. It looks very interesting and i d like to know if i should start reading it from the very first page or generally if someone good give some help.

I m trading for the last 2+ years but need to find my own style, be consistent and deal with psychology. Lots of stuff!

The manual is a summary. Start there. If you want a further updates of information which is advisable follow by reading from page 1 of this thread after the manual.

Hi Lrathi, from old times I remember that D1 and H4 systems were very sensitive to starting candle / sunday candle regularily(daily Fozzy, OZFX, Pipnailer...). Mostly there was a broker recommended for the signal generation.

The same with this system?

While some systems were designed on specific Mt4 platforms for Sunday candle consideration ...the is MTF TRIX does not seem to have those constrains. This system revolves around only one indicator and S&R,time to trade,news events when intraday trading....

If using auto pivot indicator put sunday data=false.

The account results I showed on the thread.... is based on H4 of a differenrt platform to the systems you mentioned and still showed excellent results.

Forex 37, have you written your trading plan? It is important.

Also, what TF are you planning to trade?

Firstly, my replies may be considered delayed depending which part of the world you live in. I am just checking my PM's and reading the new thread posts at the start of my day.

Secondly, I am one of the main contributor of this thread, but Paidperpip is the main moderator and we are using the MTF TRIX system originally shared/taught by Gleneagles.

The manual in post 1 comes with three sets of zip files with indicators.
Have you upzipped them and seen what is in them? YOu will find your missing indicators there under MANDATORY INDICATORS.

Hundreds of traders have downloaded this system.... and after thousands of posts.... I guess we have covered most basic questions. Answers are in the manual and all indicators provided. These are found in post 1 or newer ones in the paperclip icon which is found on the top right hand side of each page of the thread. Common indicators not there can be found on FF by using the "search' button. finally, please use "google' to find anything not in the manual or on the thread and share any useful findings back on this thread.

Look forward to seeing you make many profitable trades. Please use the manual as your reference to 99% of your questions. This thread is only 30+ pages long compared to many others worth reading stretching to 100's and even 1000's of posts. Please read all posts , there many gems hidden therein.

Big red lines are red flag news. Was running short of time and jumped in early after the news. Had I waited, I would have missed out on the drawdown.

Was unable to trade on Monday or Tuesday, but the market has been tight all week... see how things unfold tonight...

P.S. Please don't be confused by the EA's on the chart... They are just trix. Just experimenting with how they all look on the cart, as opposed to the static bar at the bottom.

EJ - +25, +35, +50, + 30 = 140
AJ - +20, +30, +35 + 19 = 104

Total for the night = 299.

Over in 2 hours!

Major crosses were playing games with long candles, so I went with the Yen crosses tonight.

100% hit rate tonight...

Here is what I mean about different signals depending on which broker. One is IBFX (nice 20 pip winner) and other is Gotrader---a good aussie broker using Currenex feed(we have good results trading other systems with Gotrader-so I'm not saying they are no good)
Roy meter is 60 15 5 on both----all settings the same. The whitish box on IBFX is set to Frankfurt open---7GMT

Good onyer PPP---you just beat me to the post---also you took the signal on AJ 5 mins before me. I noticed your broker(Axis ODL?) very similiar signal to IBFX. Your 299 makes my 20 look a bit sad!

Great results! Part of trading is being nimble and deciding with pair/pairs are moving and trade those for the session.

The triple RSi is a great indicator too! Shows OS & OB conditions along with the higher TF participation.

I will leave my good profit account silent. People may think I am showing off.

You know, you have made quite a name for yourself here as the lady who trades the 240! Please, post to your heart's content! Threads get dry without that kind of solid feedback... Many of us are amazed at your results, and would love to hear more on how you trade Trix on the 240...

Since this thread has reached the enviable position of not having much new to add, because the system works so well, (imagine that! lol) from here on in, its about encouragement and showing how well we can all trade this thing.

Of course, it is at your discretion, but I believe that other traders would be encouraged by your examples, not put off by them.

I have been encouraged by your results, and I am sure that I am not alone. It is solid changes in account balances, real or demo, that spur people on to learn more about a setup. It makes it real.

Well, I have only ever been with Axis for MT4, but have used others for other platforms...

No complaints from me really. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Signals seem to be Ok. They match pretty closely to Glen's chart, if we can use that as a yardstick.

They have ODL behind them, so the signals should be good. My money is in an Australian account too, which I like the thought of. Maybe the same with GoTrader though, for all I know.

Hi PPP

How do you get the TRIX to show as a line on the chart. It looks like moving averages?
Did you need to alter the code, or is there a setting I am missing?
