Also, I have one of the guys in my group that just opened a Currenex account because Interactive Brokers fills are getting worse as time goes on. Any body notice any difference with their fills on IB from the last 6 months?

Ikon Gm has viking staring at $2,500 also ADM hasi it staring at $2,500. ADM will be a better choice they are a multi billion dollar comapny, ikon is very small.

FXDD offers currenex with a min deposit of US 5.000,00, but i prefer they mt4xtreme account.
Huge company but filed Chapter 11. My brother lost over 20k.

Is there an API in Viking?

Which brokers provide Currenex feed with an API that can call DLL or .NET Windows class library functions (and low minimum deposit and/or minimum trade size at 0.1 lots)?
Has anyone tried the ATC Currenex platform? On the web page it says "Algorithmic Trading" as one of the features, which I'm hoping means it has an API.
There is also Broco who provides a Currenex feed for the MetaTrader platform, but I'm a bit skeptical of the speed of the feed and execution, as there'd be some overhead in getting it through MetaTrader.
I think most of these brokers will open an account for you for less than 35k. Brokers that offer cx platform will either provide tight spread but high per mill fee, or a little wider spreads with a higher per mill fee.

I prefer to have a wider spread and a lower per mill fee. If you think about it on EURUSD a 1/10th of a pip on a 1mil eurusd trade will always be $10 no matter what the prices is. While per mill fee flactuates and if eur is going higher as it seem your per mill fee increases.

Its very easy to see how much a broker marks up thier core pricings. Quick check: most brokers get eurusd spreads between .4 and .6, if you download a platform and you see avg spread of lets say 1pip you know the broker is marking you up atleast .2 per side or ($20 for 1mill trade).

I am running PFG's Currenex demo and I don't see any API functionality.

Also FXDD's PowerTrader platform (for Currenex feed) does not have "Automated Trading Capabilities": FXDD Forex Trading Software Comparison

It looks like I'd have to instead go with brokers with non Currenex feed to get a proper API. e.g.:

Interactive Brokers
GAIN Capital
Oanda
All MetaTrader brokers

Absolutely not - Every broker who offers CNX also offers an API to automate strategies.

If you are interested in CNX - Look into CMS, GFT, and FXDD.

Awesome spreads, crappy platform
Viking is Currenex's retail platform for market makers.
The whole point of CX platform is not about the platform, its about the spreads and the api that brokers offer. Good luck searching for the best broker with the best per mill fee.
I take a good look into LCG Currenex live account for several day ，comparing with IB at the same time.
1. the spread of E/U, A/U LCG is a little better than IB. G/U，G/J almost the same.
2. at some rapid time（such as news），IB platform may freeze for 3~5 seconds，but the price on Currenex is still smoothly jumping.
3. LCG charges $15/m，cheaper than IB

I am happy with IB for year，but LCG Currenex seems to be a better choice，still not knowing the execution of LCG Currenex？

Is there any "good" frontend available with currenex?

I have looked at various Currenex demo, but the standard front-end aren't great to my opinion.
I'm used to Ninja Trader, with its very good ATM.
Since Currenex has an api, I would think that someone has developed an advanced front-end to Currenex.
Does somebody know better than me?
