i hav been using my own IG platform, but seems tat i cant fully follow this system if i dont get the same picture as u guys. 1 example is that IG dont have OBV function.
please pardon me, but how do i use the metatrader thing?

I don't have Obv either. I use ADX as a substitute. Measures strengh of trend. Above 24 is good, below weak trend. You can download a free MT4 demo and use it for just signals.
This one was riskier (5 min MACD was down).
Sorry for the particular chart but i find very useful to see the correlation of the MACD waves in this way. Also the Swingman Supertrix arrows on both timeframes are helpful.

thanks mate. already download the MT4 from alpari UK & the 1M, 5M TPL files. sorry that i need to ask some technical questions:
1. how do i load up the MACD EX4 & MQ4 files? i can't seem to be able to get the same MACD picture using the same parameter 20,62,57. i always end up with only a single line and a histogram at the background. did i miss out anything? i understand that the importance of the 62 & 57, hence wanted to make sure they are right.
2. on the 5M, i understand that ideally, for a (buy), 62 have to be above 57. How about 20? where should it be?
3. last but not least, finally, i got my OBV. lol. felt more assured. but after we drew the trend lines, does it meant that we don't enter if it breaks the line?

If you had downloaded thv4 file that is a zip file which runs buy itself and goes directly into your mt4 system , so just run the file don't copy paste it,make sure it's thv 4 version not 3

while you're on the chart press on your key boar print screen button and than go to your paint programme and press ctrl and v at the same time the chart will appear and just follow the direction on forex factory
