The 10 pip profit and loss are my goals per trade. I like regimented trading.

of course, 10. If I buy in long @1.4525, I'm out no matter what @1.4535 or 1.4515, easy math. In a fast market I'll set them both after the purchase.

trendman, thanks for your contribution.
can I ask, let's say without adding this indicator, using our usual system, how could we better ensure our trend direction on the MACD in our 5M?

currently now, what I am doing is in 5M, after the 10-30emas crossing, i will only enter in the 1M after I see a =<45 degree slope on the 5M MACD.

i can't say this is 100% sure work, but at least there is more assurance.
like to see what's your method or views.

What you're doing is right and more secure,I go with my tradings more aggresive and sometimes don't even look 5 min chart and only watch 1 min chart with 20,57,62 with 10,30 ema chart but I do that because I'm very used to the system and I've almost (this might sound silly ) memorise every price action.

Just want to make sure I have numbers correct. On an earlier post you stated the numbers were 20 62 57 for MACD. Which is correct? Only asking because last 2 years I traded with no indicators and am not really familiar with them.

we use two 1 min charts, on 1 min chart 20 ema,62 ema and 57 sma ,on the second 1 min chart 10 ema close , 30 ema high and 30 ema low with 20,62 and 57 macd combination

just a basic question. how do u handle fundamental news? I understand from the earlier posts, u were mentioning that 30 mins before and after the news.

to be specific, only those EUR and USD news?

currently now, i noticed that there is little effect on scralping. as long the requirements are met, normally i will go ahead.

well, if the news is high impact news you should stay out but if it's medium impact than you might go with the trade as long as the rules are met
