Yeah, right now it is correct (6 to 16 EDT, it should not be really called EST, because we are not on the Standard time but the Daylight time now), but it will not be later this year, when both countries switch back to the Standard Time. Anyway, it's better to ask him if he really means GMT or the UK time, the latter being always 5 hours ahead of the NYC time as long as both countries (the US and the UK) switch to (and back from) the Daylight Saving Time on the same day, which I believe should be the case. He might just mean the UK time and not GMT.

It would help big time if they chose to send ALL their signals during some fixed period of time. Perhaps this would not change their performance much and it would make it easier for their clients to have some life...

I also signed up for the 2 week trial. It is great to see many people are sharing their experience and benefit each other.

Did everybody get the following trade on 7/20/2004? I never got this signal. It is not in dealer chat or email. I wonder why?
Buy USDCHF 1.2373 TP:1.2448: +20 +75

Today signal is to buy usdchf at 1.2525. Did anybody able to get this price? When I got the signal, it is already at 1.2528. After I waited a couple of minutes, it just went up 20 pips, so I missed the trade. I'm using FXCM. This trade seems to move fast in up direction. The trades for the last couple days seems to go up/down quick a bit.

Apparently, Mkcky got it, otherwise why would have he reported it, right?
I am assuming that he is actually trading their calls (at least on a demo). See his report for July 20th posted earlier.

I am sorry to tell you that I stop tracking FX-Dealer trades. I hope Mkcky has it. I don't like the way they provide signals.

However, I will provide you the details of Acetrader on Friday. I traded their signals on live account and so far they are in positive territory.

mdaisy, may I ask why you don't like their signals? And is it different from acetrader?

Most of the signals are sent out during London and US sessions.
However, when there are some big movements during Asian, you can expect some signals there as well.

Good question. Mdaisy, I would appreciate your opinion about it too.

Since you have been with fxdealer for more than 8 months, would you mind to share what you think is the best way to take their signals? For example,

1. Do you try to match the entry price or try to get better price?
2. What do you do if it never fall to the entry price, but keep going away? This happens to me today with the first USDCHF signal (buy 1.2525) and I missed the trade.
3. When you receive exit signal, do you try to exit at signal price or look for better price? For the second USDCHF signal today (buy 1.2501), I tried to exit at break even as it was suggested, but eventually exit with -10 pips for waiting too long.

My FX-dealer Performance on July 21 is slightly different:

Buy USDCHF 1.2525: 0 0 = 0 (missed the trade, it went up too quick, otherwise +20)
Sell GBPUSD 1.8391: +20 0 = +20 (use 1 more pip for stoploss & didn't get stop out, just lucky)
Buy EJP 134.66 : +9 +9 = +18
Buy USDCHF 1.2501 : -11 -12= -23 (wait too long to exit, otherwise -10)

Total: +15 pips for 2 lots ( 7.5 pips for each lot)

If trade moves far away from the signal quote. I enter it as limit order. Most of the time price retraces and fills up the order. Same thing happened with this trade, but then price went in wrong direction hitting the stop loss, so I didnt get +20 pips like you have mentioned. You were lucky to miss this trade.

I emailed them asking if they had a spreadsheet of results available. Unfortunately they don't and browsing through the results for each week is a pain. So I wrote a small program, sucked down all their results, and created the attached spreadsheet.

Some points to note:

1. During 2003 they didn't take part-profits. So the total profits are the difference between the close-price and open-price.
2. From the start of 2004 they take part-profits. Up until a couple of weeks ago they take part-profits at +30 pips. Now its +20 pips.
3. I've added extra columns and converted non-USD pips into USD pips. eg, 1 USDCHF pip = 0.8 EURUSD pips.
4. On the second sheet, I've tried to check whether the total they list on their webpage matches the total I calculate using the opening/closing prices for each trade. There are 17 weeks where the totals don't match. I don't know whether the total has been entered incorrectly, one or more of the opening/closing prices has been entered incorrectly, or they're using a weird algorithm to calculate the total. If the opening/closing prices are correct, then we can safely ignore their calculated totals and rely upon the results in the first sheet. I've emailed them for clarification but after a number of emails have still not received a satisfactory answer.

The results look good! Provided, of course, they haven't been fudged and they represent legitimate trades using legitimate opening/closing prices. Sidekick, you mentioned that you've been receiving their signals for about 8 months. Do you mind, at your convenience, taking a look at the spreadsheet and verifying whether the trades tally with your own?

They have 7 trades hit stop loss while I have 12 trades hitting stop loss that makes (5X40) 200 pips difference + the profit they got on this trades.
Most of trades have 2-4 pips less profit as prices moves till order is being filled,thats makes another 100 pips diffrence and thats how all the profits are vanished.

I think we can never simulate real results with signal providers results. There results are taken from most ideal condition.

Sidekick and FX4, you are using their service, any comments?
