Dear friends,

I have made a PPS which includes Jankone style charts almost from begining of this thread
Only A+ setups are included
I hope Jankone wont mind!

This would be a quick referrence the next time we have live trades

It is the standard usage of a pinbar setup. You enter after the price reverse back to the inner tip of the pinbar. In addition, there is an offset that you need to set. For M5 chart, I usually think it is 1 pip. That is if the inner tip of the pinbar is 91.57 (adjust for spread if long) , I would see the trigger level would be 91.58. Let me know if it is not clear to you.

My view - the markets junked just before - also my charts are showing a gap - which will prob get filled, best to stay clear...as we speak...

One way to look at it there is about 20 bars in this pull back, which seems excessive... also it doesnt pull back directly but bounce around asif its ranging and not part of a trend....and so maybe it isnt and thus wont continue...

I saw this one. but no trade for me. Why?
How to explain.., there was one down fall, then it was side ways, it made a pinbar.. but I was scared about "no power", because +- last 2 hours there was no trend. ...

If there would be a pinbar maybe faster ( after the big down fall) so then it would be instant sell, and trend continuation...

Short off pin with good divergence.

Pin was also a minor daily PPZ - that made the decision to trade this one for me.

Messed up my entry a bit and missed 2 or so pips... still managed the 2R

CT trade, Nice Pin
but Divergence was class B ( generally class A is better)

Please suggest on the setup!

Divergence is drawn wrong on the chart, but it was a good setup, imo.

The line connecting price should connect either the highs or the closes (not the lows)... check out babypips.com and search for divergence... a link was posted not long ago too.

Took this short 10 minutes before US data release (didn't realize)... luckily, I had moved to b/e by that point.

Took this long also. Got my 2R here...

you are right, but if i redraw , still it is a divergence ( not great one )
