When using

Two Magic Block System (LONG) aka 30-5 entry strategy using

MTF Trix Meter 0.5 roy does this 2-pip rule STEP 4 still apply...

"Look at Price action (PA) on this M5. If LOW is Lower of previous candle. Enter 2 pips below low of

this signal candle."

As the manual states on p.20 that the entry requires a new high (for a long, therefore a new low for a short), then yes. But don't forget the other PA aspects discussed both in the manual, inc check lists, and on the threads.

The idea is to help each other, there are quite a few traders now who have experience with the system and setup.

Does anyone know how to reprogramme the Round Numbers indicator to show 20, 50 and 80 as well as 00?

These levels are very important especially on GU. Just check your charts and see where price rests or consolidates.

This would be a very useful addition.

I sore the handle Castlebrook and had to check out where your from. Manchester, UK. One of my closest mates went to the school, but he and I live in Bury. Always interesting to discover local people.

Close all my open trades even though I know they could make more per trade. It is bedtime.

This is the same account as post#84

This was trading really only 2 full days ( kind of...cooking and other duties in between) on 240-15-5 TF without following rules 100% of the time. I did not trade tuesday,thursday at all and monday 1 trade or so.

$626.37 profit or 20.87% this week.

This is just phenomenal.!!!

If you can average 20%/month not 20%/week, your account will be worth approximately $335K 2 years from now. OK...make it $330K because you withdrew the $3600 starting capital + 20% return to make it risk free

This is just part-time trading Gleneagles, not using EA mangement properly.

Maybe this weekend I will have time to optimise/finely tune my trading plan and see what happens with performance next week.

Can you imagine if and when a multitimeframe and mutlicurrency dashboard is available from any programmer who programs one!

Dont want to put a dampener on this but what risk are you running?
2% is recommended by many traders(as I'm sure you know) so if you are using the approx 30 pip S/L (or larger for 240 system) on a 3k account that is .2 lots---so you wouldnt normally get those returns?

YOu are right 0.2 lot( 2 minilot). I am trading 1.5 mini lot which is <2% of account on each trade.

I use the MM calculator. There is a link in the manual under the MM heading too,

Hello Irathi,

I came to this thread because I was confused over the maze of incidators and systems.... then i thought well a very BASIC MTF instrument should be the absolute fundament to taking trading decisions, no matter what other indicators or ways to watch PA you apply.

So I am congratulating you for your results and I get back to re-reading the manual....

While many are using the MT4 platform as these TRIX indicators are programmed for this plaform....
Many traders use MT4 and the these TRIX indicators as signals and trade on other platforms for various reasons.... Spread betting, trade CFD's +forex+indicies are some examples.

I found that some MT4 brokers offer the data feed for US dollar Index,OIL, GOLD,SILVER and even several stocks and Major Indices.

I like to know what the US dollar is doing. I also know that:

1. When the US dollar goes down GOLD goes UP and the *aussie and NZDUSD follow GOLD.
2. OIL goes UP *USDCAD goes UP but on the USDCAD chart PA going down.
3. DJ30 and S&P500 goes UP ...What happens to EURUSD???or the USDJPY?
* thus called commodity currencies
Also we all now have access to ForexMarketTiming pdf and Predicting Price Action pdf ( Paper clip on the thread)

So, trading Higher TFs (Part-time traders and investors) and the robust MTF TRIX System.... Looking for more trading opportunities look at more markets.

Information on which are these brokers? USe their DEMO's for signals maybe useful...

The two brokers I know among many that offer data feed to these markets are: ( not sure if I can give direct links, but please google if interested)

1. Forexltd,
2. Axisodl

Further I found out that any ODL broker of IB of ODL.....has a monetary benefit of paying interest to the account holder on their funds in your account with them...

Please could you check, clarify/confirm the settings.
I plan to demo trade this management EA this week for the 240-15-5 TF

The Input that is not 100% clear to me is MOVE STOP=54( my setting)
1.Does this mean the hard stop of 80 will move ? and if so to what point?
2.OR that Trailing STOP will kick in when TP1+4(BE) ?
3.or anything else?
