I've been burned TWICE now by unscrupulous members of this forum who take money and give nothing back. I'm beginning to wonder where all the honest programmers are, and what it will take to get one to work with me.

I am a gem collector/trader (read my profile). I am perfectly willing to trade my gems for your work. For obvious reasons I'm no longer willing to use cash or Paypal.

So if there's an experienced and honest programmer here that would like to surprise his lady with some extremely fine gemstones (rubies, emeralds, amethyst, diamonds, etc., etc.) potentially worth thousands of dollars then I would like to work with you to finish my project. PM if this sounds like you.

Full disclosure: Due to being ripped off twice already, I will insist that the project be completed to my 100% satisfaction before delivery. Please note that I am stating all of these things in open forum for all to see; I have nothing to hide and I am willing to be made publicly accountable.

i would have no idea if a gem is worth $1 or $1000, fake or real

I'm sure you're not the only one. I would always allow for the gems to be inspected at 'your' end.
