It makes sense now.
Entries will be based on indicators.
The indicators indicate increased activity in a certain direction.
But exits will not best be found by indicators.
Exits are where the increased activity is heading. Where orders are waiting..
And investors and traders very often place orders at support and resistance levels, pivot points, and key moving averages, I have found the 200 ema invaluable for targeted exits. As well as pivots points and s/r...
on the chart below, entries are given by the ashi candle crossing below the ashi smoothed, and also the smoothed changing color, confirmed by fisher below turning from blue to white..
Then see how the target is reached, the pivot point (thick yellow line), and then bounces between the 200 ema and the pivot for quite some time consolidating... orders have been placed there and like the train example, some passengers are getting on board and some are getting off... When all the reshuffling is through, the train will head for its next destination. The indicators will reveal when and in what direction the train will go. Then look for either a pivot point, s/r or the 200 ema as the next station where passengers (order) are waiting.

just see how the pa bounces between the 200ema and the pivot point.
It is doing that because there were a lot of orders placed there. Little people like me with $1 to spend are not making things move. Big institutions, banks and corporations need to exchange currency in order to conduct international business. When they place an order it can be very very large. It may take a while for it to fill. They may say they don't want to pay more than a certain amount. So the train stays stuck in the station until the order is filled. The bigger the order the longer it may stay there. Just guessing. But I don't think I am too far off in my understanding of at least one of the dynamics.

On the 1min timeframe, what is the stop loss amount that you are using? You are doing great with your new rules. I like using the indicators for entries but the areas of s/r 200ema and pivot points for the exits. Good plan.

I willbe interest to hear how your testing of this goes..
any screen shots will be helpful.
You know you can drag the trade onto the chart from the terminal window after it has closed. And it will look like it does on the tester....

Good Day All: Excellent thread and system! And I must say that the true value of it's content will most likely be overlooked by the casual reader. The Fisher Transform itself is one of those indicators who's value (for trend and divergence) can easily be overlooked. The question is this: Does anyone know if a MTF version of Ehlers Fisher Transform has been developed by any one of our talented FF programmers. I have been on this quest/search for some time and have as yet been unable to find one that works in a MTF step-like manner. I believe, if one were to exist, it might well be a welcome addition to the thread, or even as a stand alone. From the MTF perspective, the indicator is somewhat difficult to evaluate looking back and forth on different time-frames, and would prove itself profitable (as with the MTF Fisher indicator) if you could view different time frames of the Transform on one time frame of your chart. as of now I find it better to actually look at the whole chart on other time frames, as I see things connected. Not just what one indi is saying (transform or otherwise)... Each chart gives it's own scenario and everything is connected there, ema, pivots, ashi, fisher etc.
Each chart has it's own landscape...

could still drop down, but decided to fun up at least first.
