I'm trying to get some EA's working that do work in strategy tester but not when attached to a chart. I get the smily face in the corner so im assuming that I am attaching them correctly however they dont place any trades when they should. Could anyone post any common problems that you can hav trying to get an EA working so i can sort out what im doing wrong?

check in the journal and the Expert advisor tab for errors and let us know what you find.

Problem solved! It was because my broker only does market execution and the EA was set up for instant execution.
