hi everyone. new here. so hope you could guide me along.
i am in short on gu at 1.6329 at 0554GMT
reason being gu bounced off my 50% fibo on h4 chart and on h1 chart, gu seems to be losing its upward momentum.

short @ 1.6329 with sl at 1.64
TP at 1.62(being very conservative here)

hello herzog welcome aboard.

I am currently selling cable as well. This is critical level for cable as it's nearing the weekly utl resistance (long term)
It is possible for price to spike and test the resistance so this trade depends on your risk tolerance. Keep it real tight if you are fearful of further test upwards, else widen it if you are able to adjust your position size to lower.

The weekly chart used before this:

Attached below is the weekly price and the level I mentioned.

This is my personal opinion. Another thing to bear in mind is that we are trading against the grain at the moment, so it is advisable to move your position to breakeven at least when already in profit. Trade safe

hi wormboy, i am looking at the daily and weekly charts now. i guess u r right. we r trading against the main trend. i have been so focused on the 4h chart that i neglected to check the others.
anyway, i really think it's trending nicely on the 4h chart. sexy even!

yup. anyway remember the price spike that could test the utl earlier?
Well we just had that a while ago. Big rejection so far, let's see if the buying pressure eases off from now on.

since it's friday i will not be doing anymore trades unless it's smash and grab on the h1 chart.

hi coolshades, no don't mind at all.

I'll put up the weekly for you, since my H4 has a bunch of lines that I would probably the only one who could understand it lol.

Price had reached the fan, fib & major s/r level confluence. In a nutshell that's why I took it. To be exact however, I took the short based on my previous H4 close which was the dark cloud cover formation, early signs of sellers coming in perhaps. Reason for the wide stop is where the 50 fib and the major descending utl resistance meet & to avoid possible high test. True enough I survived the first spike earlier. Let's hope that's the last of it lol.
Just like cable, price is very close to the major utl, which for me indicates the long term trend. As of now, the long term trend remains bearish. But assuming price test and close outside the utl, I will call the last 139 level test the bottom and will look to long to 162 level again with quite possibly 172 as the next.
Time will tell tho, as of now, still selling.
