It is the trix called from the THV cobra system, i am using whatever default comes with that.

I see. my online trading platform had the TRIX function in it. The default is 15,9.

If i am not wrong, we have to tally the direction from the MACD + TRIX in the 1M chart to find the entry point? Of cse 5M also must be in the same direction.

please advice

Trendman.. what hours are you trading? I'm on the west coast of U.S. London opens at 1:00 am for me. I have the dedication. Just need to know the best times to trade your system.

Thx.. Been demo this system and have been pretty successful. It all makes a lot of sense as soon as u get the hang of the simplicity of it.

Short positions should be followed as OBV has broken down

I hope OBV wouldn't make me embrassed..)))

Hi everybody i just want to tell you than i just notice the OBV feed on my live account is different than my demo account ! While the feed is about 50 line on my live account is in the 40 zone and sometimes 30 on my demo !

How is everyone doing?
My prediction is ,the upward move I feel bit edgy about it,on the downside I caught 15 pips but on the upmove I took 10 and went out, it looks like we might see 1.4834, waiting for a good entry ,even if I can't get good entry point, I wouldn't be disappointed

By the way If we breakdown 1.4788 point look for short entries

the other point you should follow 1.4770

Hey Trendman does it mean you did not pay attention to the 200 ema because she was not in a good order with others ma she was below ? Thanks

yes my man, and also OBV is just not following the action,but last 10-15 minutes there is a move on OBV,5 min ma are in line, 1.4803 is the point I'm follwing

I want to share one of my comments with you guys, if you see price goes towards the Pivot line and if you see the price doesn't touch but develop a format very close to PIVOT line,in my experience this is a good sign,means the price might move to second pivot line,something to watch!!

So i think i will read again the thread because i don t saw any set up since frankfort open, while you had 3 trades set up !

Yeah you know about one short trade i could be launch but i was not sure how well dealing with the 200ema !

Maybe my problem is because i expect a larger pull back than you try to teach here !

Anyways something i know for sure, i will need more practice !

Hi Trendman,

I've been mostly a reader in this forum and this is my first post so "hi all" .

I was following this thread for a while and I can see that it is getting some positive results. Some moves are caught a little late but most of the signals are accurate and provide slow and steady growth of the pip count.

I read that you spend several hours a day looking at charts. How about automating this system and making a nice EA. Actually I was trying to do it on my own but there are some inconsistencies in the rules that I found, sometimes you seem not to follow them exactly as they were initially described. Another problem is to find a proper Trix indicator. The THV v3 version seems to be a little different than standard triple smoothed EMA.

Any comment on that?
