Duh! charts also, are just prices that have already happened

trading charts is fine in range bound scenarios, but with the current volatility of GJ charts are pretty meaningless.

i keep getting excited every time it moves up knowing its just handing me more pips from a short higher up

took 100 from 143 to 142. nice retrace now to 142.50 or 143 to reload if it can get past the 23.6 at 142.22

Probably a bit off topic here. But the Irish are voting on the Lisbon Treaty which can throw the European Union into another politicle crisis if they vote no again. so i am asuming i would not like to have long on euro for to much longer.

IF Ireland said no over the weekend, and you might feel gutsy about having a small lot in place before Friday's close, I would assume you'd be very handsomely rewarded, as the Euro should fall off a cliff. Big IF, though.

why would the euro be affected by anything ireland does? dont think anyone really cares, not like ireland are a big part in....well anything really

looks nice going on that saucer roundiness pattern i read on earlier posts on H4. 3 more downside candle bars to Daily S2 would be nice to complete this kind of pattern i would say.

I wonder if it will hit Daily S2 at 140.82? probability looks good..

What do people think?

Why, because its all in or none in the euro union. if only one country votes no in a referendum its no all together. Read the Lisbon treaty and you will see how important the treaty is to the european union. tell you what, another no vote will be masive to the union and i mean massive. Talk is there might be a two tier union. But on the other end of the stick, if its a yes vote (posible after the treaty has been altered to apease the Irish) then euro will equaly sky rocket. The vote is expected to be so close, so you are a gambler if anyone risks a trade by holding over the weekend. and this also must efect G/J aswell considering what will happen to the E/G pair.

what time are the results known? if it happens before market opens sunday night then i can just wait for result and go long or short after as oanda platform still open, just with large spreads.

Hi pino! Be careful with your shorts on €, that crap is on b/s mode, if breaks 1.45 next is 1.44, pretty hard support IMHO

Unfortunatley the results will not be known till sturday ireland time. the market will be close. This is why i say ts dangerous leaving a trade open over the the week end because when she jumps or drops at next week open, no stop loss will take effect. And this has potential for a massive movement. Also, look at the ff calender, it has the lisbon treaty vote as tentetive, but what i find rediculous is the colour yellow which means low impact. yeh right
