If you want a clearer picture, take a look to EurGbp, is gonna trip to 1, what it means GChf below 1.5 or even worst.

Thanks...the problem is just that i can do only another additional 150 pips till my margin call, i really need to learn much more before i can go GJ properly. I always get into trouble with my broker 7 pips spread. the move recent is the up move before the news got my broker spread with 1 accurate pip and move down. The buy position that i left there is to help me hedge in case things turn really bad and move to 146. I lost a bit because i just came back and saw the position trigger and quickly close it. The sell position is the oen i got stuck since 142 . Now, i can breath smoother, it was so difficult 1hr ago . Anyway happy green pips guys. This is my big lesson today.

if you gonna go all in you've either gotta have a hard -out SL or you reverse you all or broke mentality and trade smaller positions from now on.

2 things can happen now.:

1. we retrace Now (down).. and then spike up again on News releases.. or
2. we choppy around here. and spike on news Up.. and then retrace..

News. are tricky.. especially USA news.. (if you know what i mean)

I would look at 50ema [4h], and observing the next pre 1-2h before the news..

im also looking for good spot to enter some short scalps here.. too..

Yeah, will be very careful now. i actually trade only 40 pips, but i mistaken the action and let loose my SL. So noobie me . Will be very careful now .

If you go all in without an SL it doesn't matter if you trade a less volatile pair. Leverage makes anything that's tame into a potential timebomb ready to go off whenever it feels like it.

If you have time, please take a look at GJ, DOW and S&P weekly TF. You can see similar pattern. Soner or later DOW and S&P will join bear party.
If both DOW and S&P crash, just imagine what happen to GJ, GU, EU and others pair.

Just take 5 minutes..take a look at DOW and S&P weekly TF. Look scary to me.

Could we see Black Monday on Oct 19 2009?

True i understand...my trade was not close due to spread too...it goes in my favor and i only need 5 more pips to my TP, it was 2 days ago when the trend is starting to retrace upward but i fail to acknowledge it, nevertheless it move down according to my scalping plan but my broker just don't close it for me due to their spread...it's hard for me not to stay at comp i still cannot locate a safe spot to close my position, and have bad TP or i'm just hte unluckiest guy in the world.

oversupply of oil = oil price goes up.

well if you still intend to trade GJ try to use max 5% from your margin. I normally use 2.5 - 5% depending on my confidence level from the setup. just imagine, if you use 5% and have 1000 pip drawdown, you only float 50% of your account (but nobody float 1000 pip i think..) and whenever you enter the market, always think of minimizing the risk instead of try to get rich from a single trade.. and if you always remember that, I don't think you will overleverage next time. Hope that helps..

yeh but from my experience...i can tell that when you start trading , GY shouldn't be traded..too volatile to start

If you notice we don't see declines of more than 1% in the us markets even on a bad down day. The money that is in this market is a lot stronger than last years weak players that had no reason being 100% equities/commodities

This time there are also millions upon millions of put contracts for s&p and related indices. Just look at the open interest for SPY October puts below 104.

I'm more concerned about the rising wedge formation as we approach the end of the year and asset managers begin to take profits in earnest
