Is my br0ker on drugs, or have they just discovered that the Tower of London has a whole other level of the world's wealth from the 1100's that they had forgot they had?

Anyone have any clues as to what has happened?

Hi Wajid,

just an idea: Right click on your chart ... choose "Expert-advisor" ... a pop-up will appear ... choose "Properties" ... then enable life-trading and DLL as shown in the pic below.

I hope it helps to get the EA to work.

The news was released at 4:30 est time..not sure which time zone you are in but one thing to always keep in mind when trading the london/new york time before you place a trade always check to see what time the next major news released is and try to stay clear atleast 30min before and 30 min after.

Perhaps an idea ... I've heard some times before: "Keep an eye on the big picture". I'm using a H1 chart to check that big picture and I attached an indi on this H1 chart called "THV3FFCal2" that was released by the THVsystem thread managed by Cobraforex.

You can attach it as a small add-in to any chart so that you can see at once when red flag news will cause some influence on your trading decision.

Just a suggestion, print the news calendar and stick it up somewhere or program the alarm function on your PC or mobile phone to alert you 60M before the event.
Don`t clutter your charts with more stuff and try to avoid the FFCal.
It is a simple matter of checking the calendar once a day before you start trading.

What I do is just put up vertical lines on my charts 30 min before the news event and on the news event every morning. Takes about 1 min and gets my attention for sure so I know when not to trade. Simple but effective.
