Dear Forex Factory Friends:

Now that I have over 60 posts up here, I believe the restrictions of Rule #2 no longer apply and I may at last "discuss" goods and services offered to the 4X Trading Community with you.

The website I have been referring to, as those of you who have PM'd my privately know, is www.marketclub.com

This year, the signals offered by the charting package of this website have produced 4,153 pips in winnings in 11 trades on the GBPUSD pair lasting an average of 13 days. That's an average of 1 100+ pip winner per month for 11 months.

As my prior posts indicated, these signals also produced 5,190 pips of winnings on 10 charts in the Forex over a period of 70 days beginning September 2.

I have used this service since June and wouldn't be without it.

If any of you wish to see screen shots of the charts and signals that produced these winners, you may PM me privately and I will send them to you if you provide me with your e-mail address.

I am not affiliated with this website in any way, shape or form. It does not put one red cent in my pocket if anyone uses their service or does not. I am simply trying to share some trading info I think is hot with other 4X traders who might like to hear about it and might be able to use it.

hello 2000, this appears to be like any other charting package like tc2000 etc. after looking at thier websight it talks about bieng able to scan for oppurtunities. once again just like many charting services. i see no where on thier websight where they offer delivered trading signals. it talks about learning to spot the oppurtunities. is the service educational only or do they provide exact entry advice. thanks, jim

hiyo, do you have a graphics editor? if so, you can post the screenshots of the signals right here in the forum with the "attach files" button. would be good to have the screenshots right here so we can discuss. dont be surprised if the first thing i try to do is figure out why the results are misleading, im a sceptic like that

MC provides long/short signals on daily, weekly and monthly charts for various equities, currency pairs or other instruments that you might be trading. I signed up for the 30 day (money back) trial and have been learning the system for about a week now. The signals appear on the charts when you apply the "Giant Footprint" function to the chart of your choice. It is important to understand that to trade the signals blindly would be a serious mistake. One must use prudent discretionary selection strategies for entry and exits to you positions. Hiyo was very helpful to me to point that out before it had and adverse affect on my account equity. Unfortunately, these stratagies are not spelled out in detail on the site, (not that I have been able to find yet anyway). I have made progress I believe, in determining the criteria that is used to produce the signals on the daily charts. It's a fairly simple rule and if it proves out to be correct can be very useful in predicting when a signal will appear in either direction. With this knowledge, combined with conservative entry/exit stratagies, I believe the results can be outstanding. I picked up over 200 pips this week already, (11/14/05 - ), that I probably would not have gotten using my previous trading methods. For less than the price of a cup of coffee and a donut per day, the service can be a very usefull tool to add to any traders toolbox.

Any chance you could post a screen shot of the trades you made and the other reason (apart from the signal) why you took the trade.

It would be interesting to compare the signals with something like Braintrader.

I currently have under the requisite number of posts on this forum to actively promote a product or service. I don't want to violate forum rules, but I can ask Merlin his opinion of what I can come up with.

I do have Paint, Merlin -- which is rudimentary but permits me to save the screen shots in various forms, including jpeg, but I find when I do that for inclusion in my private e-mails, I must expand them for sufficient detail to be available. If you will instruct me as to how to get charts up here exactly, I would love to do that.

As for skepticism, I don't blame you or anybody and I approve wholeheartedly of the approach. I have been sending screen shots galore to every one who asks, including the "Master of Disaster," MPotis here, (who is very sharp and is working full speed on this stuff) and bringing everyone up to speed on where I am at right now in figuring out how to trade these remarkable signals systematically for maximum profit and minimum risk.

And there are varying approaches too. Mine is original, although I have to give credit to numerous members of my own group, almost all of whom are MC members to the best of my knowledge, who gave me the benefit of their consultation as I worked on my methodology.

This is the point that seems to escape the skeptics most strongly: People have value in themselves beyond just being objects to get money from or make money off by referring them somewhere. When I share with other traders, they share with me back and I get the benefit of their analysis, suggestions, corrections, methods, strategies, tools, techniques and experience. And that is intensely valuable to me because everybody, and I mean everybody from rankest newbie on up, knows things I don't know about trading, trading currencies and a bunch of other things. When we cooperate and collaborate, we form an awesome amount of brainpower and experience. Given the virtues of our market, the rewards for coming up with a truly successful methodology -- this one or any other -- are almost too staggering to believe themselves. So the payoff is fat and I'm willing to work my behind off for it. "Will work for pips"; you bet I will. 17 hours a day if I have to. Until I don't have to any more and can enjoy the fruit of success to its fullest.

People jump to conclusions; as Mark Douglas says, they filter everything through their past experiences because they have nothing but that to filter them through, they read sloppily, they think in erroneous terms, they miss the forest for the trees. This is why good instructors are valuable and worth the fees they charge.

MC is much, much more than just the Giant Footprint signals. It is a Pro Trader's "Swiss Army Knife." It does so many things so well, it's almost unbelievable. I'm in the site at least 3 or 4 times a day and if anyone came to take my access to it away, I would cheerfully shoot them down like a dog in the street and consider it "justifiable homicide" and I am certain, once I explained the situation, the cops would agree completely and would withdraw (after I gave them the URL to the website) dragging the corpse behind them and apologizing humbly to me for inconveniencing me at all. (Just kidding. Just kidding. It's illegal to do that and DA's and cops and other sourpusses like that seem to have no sense of humor when it comes to shooting people down -- at least when it's done by someone else than them.)

Although my critics seemed to have failed to grasp it, there is a method to my madness in what I write and how I write it. If you give something a sloppy and superficial once-over, you will obtain a sloppy and superficial understanding of it. If you give it an in-depth look, you will obtain an in-depth understanding of it. And if it is an instrument or tool, like MC is, and like all the computerized trading aids out there are, then those with talent who learn how to use them correctly, and practice with them conscientiously, will get superb results from them and the others will fail dismally. And learned people are humble people, keep an open mind, realize that what they don't know always far exceeds what they do, no matter how much they know, and remain ready to learn at all times. And are grateful to those who teach them.

I'll be happy to post charts and discuss them. And if you want to see copies of what I have been mailing to inquirers, just e-mail me and I'll send them to you instantly. (I'm a little surprised you haven't done so before.)

Can you show a screen snap of your account showing your account having gone up by 5190 pips? If you have been using this service since June and the 5190 pips is since September, then surely you can show us these pips ending up in your account rather than where they appear on a chart.

Scorpion: This is the first such observation I have received of all the copies I have sent out. Can't understand it. I'll can set them up as word attachments and send them to you that way. And I sent three different sets of charts keyed to three different e-mails, not one set three times.

My personal procedure may be a little different than yours, Simon. Since first becoming introduced to the site in June, it took me three months to work out an original, independent methodology to trade these signals systematically for maximum profit with minimum risk. I spent hours in consultation with the colleagues in my group -- where we work together in a lab environment without question and don't snipe at each other and question each other's motives. I began testing in a demo one month ago and two hurricanes messed up the test. I am testing right now as I write and I even provided a screen shot of my demo account in one of the e-mails I sent to you and the others.

In these reports and posts, I was referring to the signals on the charts; that is the report of the gross profit one would have made trading every profitable signal on those charts. It is 100% truthful. Anyone can check it who cares to do a little work for themselves. I have sent you and every one else screen shots of the signals and you imply here publicly that somehow or other I am misleading people unless I can show them my account with 5,190 pips of profit in it. I have no intention of trading 10 out of 12 charts at any time, even in a demo. Right now, I have selected five charts which I think are likely to be most profitable and volatile over the next year and am testing my original methodology on them.

I get the impression that you are sitting out there with your arms crossed and challenging me to "show you something." You misunderstand greatly the viewpoint from which I write. I do not write as a "Master Trader" lecturing students but as a fellow student studying with other students. I am not presenting a finished turnkey methodology and urging anyone on earth to employ it. I am directing your joint attention publicly to what I think is a rather significant "trader's edge" available to anyone who wants it for a song and putting up with an incredible amount of rude hassle for trying to do it. If you reject this and convince everyone else at this site to reject it too, who do you think you are harming? Me?

There are many claims made about what returns people could of got IF they had taken the signals with 20:20 hindsight and these claims are completely useless unless they can be put into practice and translated into actual $$ into your account. I was just curious if you had actually been able to do it - that was all.

I apologize to you promptly Dr. Rock. I think I was transferring some of the irritation engendered in me by the unfair, cruel and hurtful actions of others. I believe I have spent, in total, about 60 hours this week so far, sending out e-mails and answering requests for help. You wrote, you are reviewing the facts for yourself, you have kept an open mind. I should not have snapped at you and I am sorry for it. Please excuse me.

Thanks for the public compliment Hiyo. I have made a great deal of progress in my trading skills development from your input as well as the input from other contributors on this forum (James16, Diallist, Fiji, ES, Merlin, JohnFx, Narafa, etc.), who's posts are submitted for the benifit of others. When information is submitted by these individuals and others like them and yourself, strictly for the purpose of helping others, it makes this forum the great place that I have found it to be. There will always be skeptics, naysayers and negative detractors in any public gathering regardless of the common interests of that group. Confidence in ourselves and in the direction that we are heading and goals that we are striving to achieve allow us to overlook the negative flack that appears in our daily lives. This confidence in our cause is transfered to our trading skills as we progress along our paths and builds into an unstoppable force when it gains support from others. Having an open mind to the input of data from all sources allows information to flow into our subconcious mind and adds to our personal data base whether we conciously agree with the concepts or not. Our subconcious mind is exponentially wiser and more capable of sorting out useful, benificial information from the myriad of rubbish that we are bombarded with daily. Accepting input given freely by others and offering at least a humble thank you without criticism is an indication of personal self confidence that facilitates the free exchange of usable ideas and information between individuals, families, communties and nations. Closed minds that lack personal self confidence to accept input or ideas from others feel threatened by what they mistakenly perceive as a higher intellect trying to impose it's way of thinking on them. They throw up defenses and barriers to the flow of ideas in the form of negative criticism and personal attacks. Well, let me tell you something...... I'm no smarter than the next dope trying to learn this trade. Admitting to myself and to the world that I don't know shit about a whole lot of things allows me to absorb so much more of what is available and build a foundation on very usefull buiding blocks that others have graciously provided for me.

You have shined a light of constructive energy into a rather large, dark cavern of negativity here. It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

I know we can all beat this market consistently and for serious money and that there are many ways to do it. This is about the easiest market to beat I've ever seen. I am testing many different methodologies right now, not just the GFP, because people have shared with me their own insights, techniques and methods in return for my sharing with them mine. I derive "knowledge dividends" from what I do all the time. I get paid by others, and paid well, just not in money. My money comes from the market -- as it should -- or it just doesn't come at all, not from my colleagues, associates and friends.

Thomas Edison experimented with over 5,000 different substances before he found one that could serve as a filament for his light bulb that wouldn't burn out in 30 seconds flat. The light bulb was a great idea. It was sound in theory and it could work in practice. But it took a lot of trial and error before he could bring the thing down from the mental plane to the physical. But he was the type of man who just didn't take "no" for an answer when he knew something could work in theory. Each successive failure was not a discouragement to him but an inducement and challenge to try again and try harder until he succeeded. He was a 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration kind of guy and I admire the hell out of him. Whenever I've hit a brick wall in my career, I think of Edison and his light bulb and boom! I'm back at it even more vigorously than before.

I had the privilege of visiting with a 26 year trading pro last week. He let me watch him trade and ask questions for over 8 hours in his home office equipped with his personally built computer system, four screens and Trade Station and he made a lot of money right in front of my eyes day-trading on the 15 minute charts of the S&P500 Index. His methods are personal and proprietary to him. He practically never misses. He makes money routinely hand over fist every week and he loves every minute that he sits in the cockpit behind his set-up and flies that incredible money plane of his. He can't wait to get to work in the morning and is blue when it's time to stop in the afternoon. His ability to get in and out at the right time is almost magical. He trades that one chart and that chart alone. He's seriously wealthy. I gushed with compliments. He looked at me with a look that was kind of composed of both quiet amusement and contemplative sadness and said, "It didn't come overnight." And that spoke worlds to me.

I think the only reason people are negative right now is because they are losing consistently and they are angry and frustrated. If they were winning, they would be angels of light. When is the game over? When we die? I have been up substantial sums of money in my trading career. Was I a good, competent trader then? I have been down substantial sums of money in my trading career. Was I an incompetent trader then? I think I am a good, competent semi-pro trader who aspires to full professional status asap. I'm proud of being a trader. I love what we do. I love the equal opportunity here. That is rare in this world. I have learned how to test ideas and methods carefully. I have learned to see value in theory and to exercise patience in testing. I am learning constantly and sharing ideas and methods with people like you helps me greatly along that path.
