Look at Daily what resistence Do you really see...besides all these candles at 150...151...or what ever..

Real resistence or supports are where candles stopped ..bounced or reversed,, that is 148.90.... 153.25....156.85

Also note Daily MACD.....RSI....

Still in the down channel..Do you know something that the market don't know for the GJ to rocket to 153.00 without fundamentals? The market is waiting for FOMC on wednesday at 2:15pm.

I am not really a Fundamental Trader...

For the Sake of Fundamentals... If FOMC is gonna be Bad...they should take this higher ...as high as they Can...to sell in Strenght..After all its going Down Anyways...Whats the Rush. Gotta hunt Stops. You know G/J.. you know..

sorry I had to pull my UJ COT analysis chart down yesterday for a couple of corrections.

I'm in complete agreement on this. UJ is going to make a big move this month.

some pairs correlate better to COT futures and options. The UJ and EU are 2 that work well. Both the EU carry trades from 97 to 01 and the 01 to 08 (that made a lot of traders very rich) had their entries and exits signaled by the 0/100 - 100/0 COT.
(Something to note, most pullbacks are signalled by an 80/20 ratio.)

I am seeing something very similar to what raza is as a potential bounce to towards the 170 correction.

The UJ may be one of the wild cards in the deck and shouldn't be ignored. The Japan Industrial numbers coming out this month will be bad because the stimulus has wound down. I think this is the hedge on the UJ that the Yen will weaken. All the nonsense about the BOJ not intervening should be ignored. It's an export economy. They're playing rope a dope right now.

last week someone asked why the Yen is so strong if Japan's economy is in the toilet. I dug out this chart that shows why. Everything is relative. A weak Japan economy is still a powerhouse compared to most countries when their economies are strong. No one's putting their money in Pesos right now...

This wealth of nations chart paints each nations size in terms of relative wealth. (the 2015 US size projection should probably be smaller, but this was made before the US economic crisis).

Here's my short term outlook for the GY.

I'm currently short from 149.4 so watching closely. If we break the LTL of the 1H bull channel my targets are 148 (and 146.7 if we're lucky) If the 1H bull channel holds my conservative target on the upside is 150.

Slow PA last 2 days, so not sure how much movement we'll get before FOMC.

that chart is my long term view once the reversal has been established. I still think we still can hit 146.7, so haven't loaded up any longs yet.

gj is weak

3 hour chart .. vsa shows sellers as mentioned earlier and rsx turned down

we are still in wave 3 that could take us all the way to 145

fomc will be status quo i bet ...

gu will continue the down trend we have seen on daily .. t5his is just a consolidation phase

I brought my laptop to the onsen. lol

Thursday and Friday Asia session may be slow as well, it is unusual for the 3 holidays in September to line up like this in Japan, so a lot of people will probably take the whole week off.
