I don't use divergence but I've seen people use it successfully in here, but my charts tell me stay short, so I'll stay shorts with +pips locked in

This run down has not finished. it can cancel the divergance on both 1h and 15min frames if it continues imho

i use rsx for divergance. if this is the botom and rsx turns up wards then yeh its divergance. But rsx pointing down and could still pass the previuous low. a bit early to tell i think.

the move is yen strength, not gj weakness as UJ and EJ have tanked but GU has not.

all yen pairs on 5min are seriously oversold, needs a retrace at the very least

the yen strength comes because of comments by japs new genius finance minister that strong yen has benefits (yeah cos their economy is based on exports and a strong yen REALLY helps that doesnt it). its amazing. some twat says strong yen has benefits and these sheep all rush to buy yen......because the jap economy is in such good shape and they will raise rates soon........oh.....wait.......

Correct. News out BoJ say they will not intervene in the market and think strong JPY is fine as long as it is gradual movement.

Feeling fairly confident we're going to retrace for some nice and hopefully safe pips; tipoff for me was the GBPUSD uptrend started 30 min before GBPJPY bottomed. It would make sense for London to take this thing up even higher, given both sessions rarely take the same overall trend. The US dollar still remains out of favour, so both crosses should rise together. Sometimes I'm amazed how the big boys "rationalize" & melt these things together. Just also seeing Bloomberg talking head Tom Levinson calling for 1.67. P.S.: Watch for setbacks (surges?) over the news in ~1:45hrs.

I 've no idea whether it will have some retracement from here, any pro advise?

However, I still have my target, if current 149 gives way, my 1st target is 148.50, and next is 147 and next 143.70 and final 142. There might be some retracement in between the price i said, I just have to follow along..

What is ur target karmo?

Did you change your period to 10?

Divergence is Bullish.

If not too much at least to retest Broken Pennant LTL..mentioned earlier

G/j also has a Bad habit of retracing 100%.

No probs bro. here is what i was talking about. when you noticed a posible div on 15 min, i was looking at it as well. But have a look now. the rsx is in sinc with price movement. they both made new lows. cheers

147 and then 143 but we need to break 149 first.

Wow, thanks for the chart. That's great, I have too little experience with the divergences. However i luckily use divergence to scalp 40 pips last night while sleeping . Hope to learn more from this thread.
