I think it was a lucky ending trade because my UpdateStopps did not move my SL. I thought at +15 pip the SL would move to BE and then will start trailing pip by pip. My setting is:

Any idea?

If there are pips you can collect - just do it!

You have the EA set to EURUSD whereas the chart appears to be GBPUSD, that's probably it.

Sorry, I deleted the earlier message because I wouldn't want people to think that I am trying to cause harm to this thread. It is great and thank you very much to all their contributors.
As it has some features from the C4 thread I just wanted to show you can tune the MTF trix system with Renko charts.
My point was that I thought the signals were a little bit late and that they could be tuned along with the Renko chart.
Also to take profit, I find it more useful and secure to aim for the fibonacci level as the price oscillate between those levels.
Please find attached my trades and particularly the one where some peeps lost 30 pips. Should have they entered earlier on the signals given by Absolute strength and BullsBearsEye (confirmed on the Renko by rejection of the FIb level), they could have entered before the long candle when the MTF trix system sent a late signal. And then it was easy to get at minimum 30 pips within minutes.

Sorry but I do not want Renko discussion to this thread. Renko salesmen made good money in C4 thread, let us keep this one clean from it, ok?

Besides, as much as I know, Glen is trading this simple system for living. At the same time, two people that I know from another thread who made hundreds of newbies to buy Renko probably never traded anything but hot air

About your trade in EURUSD, I have 2 things that kept me from taking the trade.

1. 15 mins after High impact news is to close for me

2. I have a rule that if all my trixmeters 5M-15M-30M-60M not agree in direction when I got a signal arrow I will not take a trade unless price is only 5 pips away from signal candle when all the trixmeters confirmed

That is jut my 2 cents.

I use the Trix signals as a confirmation rather than a trigger to my trades as I find them a little lagging.

Set Trix to 2,1,1,1, then you will get quicker entries but also more false ones.
I accept little lagging when going for 20+ pips. Like to be safe with entries.

thank you for your answer. The EA is not set to any currency. The EURUSD appears because the EA needs to be told what BrokerEuroSymbol is used by the broker. As you know some brokers use EURUSD some user EURUSDm or EURUSDy. Therefore that doesn't solve my problem.

Try setting 0 for no stop loss function
and setting 1 to enable stop loss

You have the option to only use the BE function as well and then set the TS manually on MT4.
I have noticed that at times the TS function will stop working once a portion of the trade is closed at TP2 or TP3 or even manually.

hmmm ... in my version of UpdateStopps(2) I don't have a stop loss function to choose wheter I want to enable it or not. Do you have an other version?

I believe this is the 'Hard Stop' setting in the EA? The 'Move Stop' setting allows you to move the stop to Breakeven and the 'Trailing Stop' is just that. I think Glen has recommended that if you use the 'Trailing Stop' function, make sure it is set in excess of TP1 at least.
