The questions that anyone who was looking for a mentor should ask.

Has the trader proven himself to be a profitable trader in real time live trading on a public forum where there were no edits allowed and every trade was scrutinised

Has the trader continued to be profitable from that time on?

Has the trader been a good mentor?

Have I learned from the mentor how to trade on my own?

Have I made money from being mentored by the trader? And has it been worth the cost for the mentoring?

Has anyone verified the trader trading in person?

haha, yes there's more satisfaction in shouting at a person rather than a screen

I guess some of these dealers/brokers have developed an immunity to it, on the rare occasion I've spoken to one they seem about as emotional as a screen anyway!

A friend of mine works in IT and he said he was forever being asked to replace smashed trading room screens!

I thought about this for one or two minutes but decided I am too busy to do it properly. I have a young family, I have a successful growing accountancy practice and my forex trading account is getting bigger in leaps and bounds.
I don't want to start something and not do it properly. If I posted any results the trolls would be back and I don't need to waste my time on them.

I for one would have liked to see your trades on any pairs other than eur-usd. I understand your reasons for not showing the eur-usd as that would be too close to disclosing jackos trades here , but other pairs would be good so as we can compare trades.
Don't concern yourself with the trolls. They are only here to criticise others and they never offer their strategies or trades, usually because they don't have any.

Aside from that I also get involved in trading discussion, give people advice, and also look for new ideas to pass the day when trading. I also answer all advice seeking PM's directed to me. I have talked about my strategy's on other timeframes loads of times as well.

Don't complain about other people offering nothing and being trolls, when the people who spoke out against Jackos silly statements are some of the best and most informative traders on here and when you and your fellow turtles are without a doubt the group here which not only offers nothing, but are also seriously annoying to listen to.

Please show me that you are qualified to give people said advice. All your pointed trades in the post are after the trades have occurred.
Jacko has six months of live trading here that anyone can see and another two years of successful live trading that the group members can see. All of his trades are posted BEFORE the trades.
Will you do that?

Just seems sometimes we do such thing to get attention that cannot be found unless proven as fact to someone else.
Why would a mentor waste valuable time to teach someone to do something that will profit him/her if the apprentice doesn't have the discipline and character it takes? It could take years. You can give much advice to a novice but if he doesn't make mistakes and fails as we all have at an early stage he will get nowhere.

The best mentor you can find is yourself, to make it easier just get a mirror and look deep and see what/who is the reflections you see or try to seek. A deep analysis in oneself.

As a person supporting themselves exclusively from trading I think I can talk about some of my experience, some people can find this helpful, some might not I am sure, don't read it if you don't want to. It's not as if I am charging people anything for it . Just passing some hours waiting for some action to occur.

All my trading is intraday (A lot of it is based on 1Min/5Min although I really don't use normal charts a lot of the time anymore) so even if I wanted to post my trades I would not have the time to do so as I am more concerned with the actual trading rather than running a blog for money.

I don't really care about Jackos 6months of live trading calls or whatever. I have had plenty of his members tell me he is awesome and I have plenty his members who similarly tell me he is not great at all. I don't care either way.

But enough of that, as my initial point was you and the other Jackos turtles have absolutely nothing to add on Forexfactory apart from bragging and talking about how great Jacko is, accusing other members of being trolls is hilarious when you guys have just to look in the mirror.

I'll just chalk you down for another on the ignore list, it's not as if you have anything of substance to say anyway. I was probably wrong for replying in the first place instead of just putting you on ignore.

Now why would anyone do that? - unless that person has a very specific interest to sell something or solocit a paid service.

The fact that they have not been published here, does not mean some of the veterans here haven't got a pristine long time profitable trading record.

Clearly there is something else going on with this thread and all the posters with under 20 posts or similar who are desperately trying to keep this whole advertising and praising alive.

I suggest that if the said service is of such high standard and quality (which obviously cannot be assessed by novices who have signed up for it, but other professionals who might take a look at the genuity of the trading records), the ForexFactory should consider to make the person and his service a legitimate partner. That would certainly erase all doubts that have been put forward in this thread and in addition, it would give newbies the peace of mind to join without hesitation or doubts - or the need to indeed having to listen to a bunch of unqualified druel from even more unqualified followers.

As far as I can gather from the title, this thread should be considering the value of a PAID mentor which in itself is in my 15 year experience an oxymoron - but even leaving this minor issue aside, the title also clearly states the plural of mentor (mentorS) and hence my question why the conversation seem to be steered back to just one person being chewed up praised and chewed up again. Only very few posts have actually dealt with the essence of the question and thus leaving the thread to die in the gutter or become rediculous in other ways.

A good mentor gets paid through the success of his protege.
