The real disadvantage of this system is that you have to actually
babysit the Trades. Impossible to set TP as no one knows
at what point pairs will met.

Looks like a good choice. 330 period is roughly 7 days for 30min charts wich is the time gap I usually work with on my screen.

You can use the Pairclose EA given earlier and set it to a reasonable level.

I had the EA open on demo thank gosh and closed MT4, I reopened MT4 and the EA opened more trades b/c it was active on a chart. How can you make it so when MT4 reloads, or closes and opens (the broker disconnects you sometimes for no reason), it doesn't not reopen more trades?

Also everytime you make a change to the EA do you think you can please change the number in the file name of the EA, i.e. v1, v2 etc.?

The ea wont open new trades if trades exist with the magic#. Ive just tested again and recheck the code, it seems fine. Check the trades comments, the trades magic# are displayed there. If the old trades magics differ from the new, then mt has reloaded the ea with other settings with what you have closed it with. I know mt4 does not save the profile correctly when you use windows shutdown so that windows closes mt4 instead of it been closing the usual way.

I only rename the file names if critical changes takes place, changing an comment display or adding an email function isn't critical. Is the email thingy working ok?

Okay. One way to safeguard against this is once the EA loads and opens the trades intended, open up the properties of the EA on the chart and change the sLots = 0,0.

Guys, is there current correlation quote for 2 pairs anywhere?

I don't trust those Charts they really showing some strange things.

Before enter would be GREAT idea to check current correlation quote.

Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

If mt4 didn't save your settings than that wont help. I could make that the ea only opens trades when it is dropped by the mouse, that would solve this problem. I must say it never happened to me that mt4 don't save the settings when it closed normally like what you have done now. You haven't giving me much to work with, have you checked the magic#s? If you have already closed that faulty trades, just look at the history.

I am sorry for causing you much work, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I am not sure what went bust. Maybe something on my end I am not aware of. In any event I think your suggestion about the mouse drop is a great idea. Thanks for making this great EA!!! : )

The platform has since been opened and closed. IS there a log somewhere with the Magic #'s?

Just look at the comments tab, if you don't see it, just right click on the heading of the orders or history tab, depending where the orders are, and check the comments heading.

Two sets open unexpectadly and the M#'s are 102 and 103. I have been manually changing the M# when loading hte EA so I am not sure where the screw up went. I would have to test again.
