Hello

does anybody know what usually we need to close an account with IBFX?
or all mt4 brokers/ say all brokers in general?

yes, we can leave it as such...but i want to close the account!

You need to login to your web account which is found on their website and fill in the withdrawal request.

Too bad many people are closing their acccount with this broker. A friend of mine just closed her account this week.

What did I miss, when and where?

My Live account is with them should I worry?

i got it...
In web panel > Withdraw by wire > Selecl Close account >Sumbit Request!
Ok done..!

On the request form there is a box "close my account" make sure that is checked.

Looks like people from Canada, Ontario are getting rejected This is the email I got from them to close my account;


Dear xxxxxxxxxxx,
We regret to inform you that IBFX is no longer able to open or service brokerage accounts in your province. Accordingly, we are writing to request that you take the necessary steps to close your IBFX account by September 30, 2012. As a courtesy, we will waive all fees associated with the closure of your account, including wire transfer and account transfer fees, if any. If you believe you will be unable to comply with this request by the above date, please contact us immediately, as your failure to act might require us to restrict your account to liquidating transactions and/or close out all open positions so that we can close your account and transmit any remaining funds to you.
