OK I have a few minutes to comment on this list. Please consider this new item that I recently heard regarding healthcare in the US compared to the UK. Mark Stein (pretty sure that is not the correct spelling) is a columnist for a national newspaper, and is a former citizen of the UK. A friend of his who lives in the UK, and is an elderly lady of nearly 80 years, has had a pain in her lower leg for many years. The healthcare system in the UK requires that she be allowed to schedule an appointment with her doctor each month, which she had done for several years. Her doctor would sit and listen politely to her complain of pain in her leg, and then would lecture her on the need for pain management medication, and that as an older person, she needed to learn to live with more aches and pains. Well, this lady was visiting Mr. Stein at his remote home in Vermont. During the visit, her leg pain became serious enough for Stein and his wife to become concerned enough to take the elderly lady to a local, very plain medical clinic that served their community. During the 2 hour visit, the lady was given a full blood work-up and an MRI, all of which were conducted and analyzed at the clinic during the visit, and were services that the UK system had denied her for years. As it turns out, the lady was suffering from gout, and received medication to help her with her gout problem that would not have been available to her in the UK.

I have seen these comparative lists for several years now, and am just not impressed with them. I know of no US citizen who would trade their healthcare system for that of France. In fact, I can walk into several local medical centers in my community (all of which are considered among the best in the US) and be introduced to citizens of many of the countries rated higher than the US on this list. These people have come to the US to receive treatment that is not offered by, or available in, their home country. We have the best healthcare system in the world. Unfortunately, we also have the fattest people in the world so health outcomes are not the best.

GEfx, we have had quite a bit of press about this US debate in the British press mainly about the untruths. The one about Stephen Hawking, if he was on the British Health system would be denied treatment because of his age. The press in the US thought Stephen Hawking was from the US but in fact he is British and owes his life to the NHS. Here is a link:

I don't really have anything to add and I just hope the US makes the right decision based on facts and not fiction. I know in myself that I have peace of mind when it comes to health care and I wish the same for all US citizens.

I picked up a copy from traders press, it's a photocopied reproduction, and the quality was marginal, but it is sufficient for study. it's about 60 pages of mostly hand drawn charts with Hill's memo's, thoughts and notations on the side.

His thoughts on market phases accumulation/distribution are foundational, and there's some good insight into trend ending and ranging behaviors. Think along the lines of Wycoff. About half of the book are his thoughts on combination bar/candle patterns but not the normal stuff, (hanging man, morning star, doji).

The phase studies should be required reading, the later are more of an intermediate level and you may only take away one or two patterns that mean something.... I usually go back about every other month and restudy that material.

Yes it's well worth the money, inexpensive compared to most financial books, but it's something to be slowly digested, a quick read will not gather much.

Satans ploy is to convince mankind he doesnt exist, however he does (1John 5:19), he manipulates in the background.
You've seen it, religious leaders claiming to do Gods will leading their flock yet by their actions or fruits they end up in the news for terrible things the've done (2 corinthians 11:13-15).
Nations have gone to war claiming to do Gods will. Hitlers Nazi army had on their belt buckles god is with us.
Criminal syndicates, example Pablo Escobar Columbian Medellian drug cartel was looked up to as he helped certain families, children,etc.

There are many translations, however, meaning is not lost, there is no contradictions.
Any problem or question man has an answer is provided.
The bible is a letter from your heavenly father, also a manuel of how to live your life, just like we would recieve a manuel on any man made product and best use of product (2 timothy 3;16,17).
Also were helped to understand him and his purposes (isaiah 55:11).

I think perhaps Zoran was referring to the Pauline doctrine that rather took over the New Testament. As to whether it is the undiluted word of God, I rather doubt it. Too many have had a hand in putting together what we now have. Seeing as it was a group of men who decided which gospels they wanted in the Bible and which didn't suit their purpose, in the 3 hundreds AD, I cannot see how it could possibly be undiluted, or the true story.

From my own study, there are many contradictions in it. If we are to believe that every word is true and should be used as a guide for life then perhaps, as an example, you could tell me why you think that it is a disgrace for women to speak in church?

There are believers and there are non-believers. There are those who read the bible seeking truth, and there are those looking for contridictions. To receive the truth, you must have an open mind and an open heart. Until then, no talking will break through.

BTW, the texts that were rejected for inclusion in the bible are widely available and widely read today. They are interesting reads, and understanding why they were rejected is also interesting.

hello GEfx, in the netherlands we had public healthcare and they changed it to private. many people here where scared our system would become like the american one.

we saw people who had to sell their house to pay for treatment because they where uninsured.... and you say 15 million mexicans get treatment for free. i am confused.

"back to trading" sounds good to me.

i come here every day, a habbit, to see if fti's lessons are discussed. when an old question is asked, there still is a anwser or reply. and this is why i keep coming back here.

i understand this thread is mostly social now. even tough i like to read the opinions shared and ask or respond somtimes, i feel bad i did not find this thread 1,5 years ago.
