Once again this is strangely correlated pair:
based on mataf.net 50 points: 1H:-37.6, D:70.2
based on mataf.net 100 points: 1H:-42.7, D:89.0

But I think that daily correlation is the most important one.
I added first time to this trade:
total: gbp/chf 20K (long), gbp/usd 20K (short):

the gap between these two pairs seems to get larger by the day...

i am bit worried and I am in this trade...

any opinions...?

I would be careful with that combination. Usually, they are correlated positively, but not for their most recent history.

How's it going for everybody? I've been in 4 sets of trades since yesterday, waiting for the lines to come back together. These are the currencies I'm in specifically:
GBPUSD/GBPCHF
GBPJPY/USDJPY
USDJPY/EURJPY
USDJPY/EURCHF

Are you guys all out there waiting too?

I think that looks quite a good correlation and have done ok out of this pair yesterday and today...you need to pick the right moment to get in...

I've been looking at daily ranges of Pairs and waiting for one to go to an extreme...thats my entry for one side and I've been holding of taking the other side until it starts to show signs of snapping back, I dont think you have to enter both positions immeaditely. Some might see this as unsafe but you want to get in at good levels...IMO

remember the recent correlation history in hours is showing only a few days out of sync which is usual...

Exactly. I would personally wait for the values to become all positive.

You want to lose money - use them.

Load "Saticoverlay" Indy and then go to dailyfx.com draw exact same
chart and you will see, that "Saticoverlay" creating wrong charts
same with other Indies as well...!!!

Compare with real dailyfx.com charts and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I have been using StaticOverlay and compared it to FXCM MarketScope and they are the same. DailyFX is the same as Marketscope. DailyFX is just a short term zoomed in version, which will repaint for you.

Just to further clarify FXCM UK is the dealer that you can get a demo account on. In addition to MT4 they have their own platform called Trade Station which has a charting module called Marketscope.

Yes. When you get the TradeStation software running, just open a chart and that will get MarketScope opened. Once on your chart, right click "Chart Elements" and "Price Overlay".

On 3 pairs for less than 4 hours run into 128 pips profit..
On very small lot though of course since I'm still testing this,
but it's on live account!

Only need better charts..
