Yes!! its correcting now.. I choose to wait until it form the top, once clear trend is down, will gonna sell it from there..

Had some bad trade by finding the tops and bottoms, and learned from mistakes.. not going to repeat it again..

I invite your attention to the following comparison chart of USDCAD VS OIL. According to Bob Prechter (Elliot Wave Theorist), crude oil has completed its supercycle, and has completed a major upside trend. In other words, it means USDCAD has formed a major bottom. It is the reason I am thinking of impulsive waves in USDCAD.

Please share your thoughts!!!

Agree with you about the impulse count for usd/cad. But for the corrective waves, initially counted it as W, X, Y, Xx, Z. but now no count.

I'm waiting for bottom formation first..

I agree with count, and have charts running back much futher.

Anyone looking to buy and hold Gold would be well advised to wait until Gold has put in a bottom below the $680 level. Wave B up may take prices to (or just above) the $1007 level, but after that it will be all down hill to a new low below the $680 level low of wave A....or so I expect.

Hi all, I' trying to understand how this overlapping C wave on a double zigzag can be a C wave. Shouldn't it be an impulsive wave or a diagonal triangle? I think it is figure 1-28 from the Elliot Wave Principle. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Price targets for EURUSD and GBPUSD set forth in my previous posts looks to achieved. At the moment, no trading signals. So I will just watch for now. I hope some people would have followed my analysis and have made good pips today.

Here is the update on dollar index. Although, the subwave count of wave (5) is not very clear at the moment. I think it still has to form a bottom.

In the chart you posted, C wave with overlaps is an ending diagonal. Diagonals are the only impulsive waves where we have overlaps. As far as I remember, diagonals are discussed in the chapter after the motive waves.

I think dollar index has bottomed out. 5 wave structure after breakout of triangle is complete.
