I manually set up the EMA's indicators, and suggest you to do the same. Its easy..

I entered a short at the top of the hour. Downward flow, and this area has been tested before. Hoping for it to break this time. My stop is at 154.20. Not too keen on the time of day and also news in half an hour so I'll monitor it closely.

I entered e/j and G/U at the same time as G/Y. Stop to BE now on G/Y and 50 pips off the table.Stop to BE on all. G/U not a runner.35 pips taken on E/J. I entered E/J on 5 minute Cornflower.

Well, I just completed an exhausting move from Chicago to LA. Finally starting to settle in here. But I've had no time to follow the market of late. I hope to have more time going forward.

That said, I don't post much to the thread anymore because after nearly 2 1/2 years I've more or less said all that I can say about this system. I still use it myself, and I'm glad this thread is still active. The system still works, provided you follow the rules and don't start adding unnecessary indicators (which I've found mostly useless).

The only thing about this system that could be hammered out in more precise detail is when to take profit and/or loss, but I've found that there are no hard and fast rules that can be hammered out as with the entry. Cornflower can be used to either set up a scalp trade or a mid-term swing trade, and I pretty much left it up to you guys to discern what works best for you. I can assure you that there's no "secret" I've omitted. I more or less use Cornflower to gauge trend, and then move to the 5-min to enter. I've always been more of a scalp-type trader at heart, only because I don't like sitting around and waiting. If I have a profit I like to take it sooner rather than later, though on occasion I do the swing trade for 50+.

Don't force your trades. Wait for a proper setup, and when it's there, take the trade.

I hope you can help me with a question from the early pages of the thread re the timing of entries via the 5 minute/15 minute chart please?

I follow the set up on the 1 hour and the move onto a lower timeframe when a bounce off an EMA looks to be "on the cards"- there seems to be a reference to a number of possibilities re precise timing of entries in terms of not using a lower timeframe at all particularly for a longer term move/ using a 15 minute set up with a MA cross of an 8/24 MA or using a 5 minute chart and bounces from moving averages similar to Phillip Nell's 5 minute strategy.

It is a credit to your strategy that some years after it was originally posted it still gets interest and is still followed unlike many others that are confined to the FF vaults!

I am also conscious(as we all are) that over the last year or so there have been some very challenging markets and I wonder whether you can help me by pointing me in the direction of the entry rules that you are currently using, in other words is it the 5 minute/15 minute chart or are you simply using the 1 hour and making a judgement call on the basis of it?
