DislikedHey looks like the time frame problem is fixed. Its about 10 AM London time. Did a trade close to London opening. I like to trade off the pivots, didn't check til later, but pivot, low, high were all off. Had to pull out of deal ended up losing money on the trade. The auto pivot shows 151.697 and R1 is 153.358. But you can see the pivot i plotted down off actionforex is P=151.280, R1=152.520. I was using it last week and it was only off a pip or so.
According to the actionforex website..
"Daily pivots are calculated from previous day's high,...Ignored
Dislikedaggh, i just checked right now and its matching the new pivots after closing, god i just dont get whats going on.Ignored
DislikedI downloaded the indi yesterday. Played with it a little bit, I like what I see.
It is giving zero divide error messages for yen crosses on 4 digit broker, maybe because the price is displayed as xx.xx as opposed to x.xxxxIgnored

DislikedI have been doing all my testing on 5 digit. I did check it on a 4 digit, but not extensively or on all pairs. I will look into your problem closer. Thanks for the input. btw what cross are you talking about?
Edit: I see the zero divide on 4 digit with USDJPY. I sure wish Metatrader had better debug tools. I will have to search for the trouble. Thanks again.Ignored
DislikedWhat are you CalcFromWhatTimeZone and CalcFromWhatHour set too? Also what timezone are you in? I was always afraid there maybe some calculation problems from other timezones. -4 and 17 would (or should) correspond to New York 5pm close from any timezone. See if the today vert line matches the actual close time of New York. Was it correct in that screenshot?Ignored
DislikedIm in toronto. For some reason the other day, the default timezone -4 whathour is 17 was really off from actionforex. I currently have it set at -3 and it looks like this is as close as it will get to actionforex pivots. What i don't get is why timezone -4, shows closing and new pivots at 6pm (23:00) , and timezone -3 shows closing and new pivots at 5pm (22:00)Ignored
DislikedHi,
I think the problem is that in MT the candle time is the start time.
Thus if you want values at 17:00 you have to put in a whathour of 16 which will give you the values at 16:59 from a 1hr candle.
just my 2c,

Disliked..... These global variables must be activated in the inputs of the indi first then you can access the numbers from any other indi that is running on your platform. On any chart.
For example: I use renko blocks and I have a simple indicator I put on the renko chart that draws the pivot lines. I will attach it here so you can see how its done.

DislikedHi Tigertron,
thanks for sharing your indis. I have little problems to make them all run ... with different effort.
I downloaded all 3 indis and started MT4 again. After I uploaded (I allowed DLL) this happened:
1. GlobalVars shows on the left side of my chart a couple of written informations ... but they blink, they don't show constant lines
2. TigertronPivotsV1.31 works ok (as far as I can interpret the lines)
3. GlobalPivots doesn't show anything - wheater on a Renko-chart nor on a usual candle-chart.
What am I doing wrong? Is there...Ignored
DislikedHi studbiol,
There is a feature in the pivot indicator that allows the values of the pivots to be shared with ....... you must have MakeVarsGlobal in Tigertron Pivots set to true.
GlobalVars and GlobalPivots are really just sample code to give a programmer ideas of how to use them. The main indicator here is "Tigertron Pivots Vx.x" which is a fancy way to display pivot points.Ignored
DislikedThank you Tigertron,
I'm starting to learn how to use it during next week. Tigertron Pivots V 1.31 seems to work (I use only M5 and M15) but V 1.4 does make trouble --- I can't start it. I'll give it a try when market is open again.
If I have any further questions ... I will post again.

Disliked..... use History Center (F2) to download the data for the pair. The indi needs a lot of 1 min bars (more than 1 weeks) to do all the calcs. .... There will be a V1.5 next week that is more efficient wont be such a resource hog but I'm not posting it until the markets open and I can test it live.

DislikedOK. Here it is. .... I also wrote some documentation explaining the different features and one on how to load bars into MT4.
So go check post #1 to get the new version and try it out. Let me know if something doesn't work.
Thanks
