well i think ive hit on something here. want to try it a few more times...... im using takeprofit ea from this thread. click paperclip it is on 2nd or 3rd page. there are a ton of these eas. just pick the one you like the best. i like this one. 1 input: take profit

This has got to be one of the most ill-informed, unintelligent, un-studied, response I've seen.

OK let me get this straight: I have made over 1% per day (most days are 2% and some are 5-10%), and have done so since March, and have never taken a loss, and have taught many others to do the same, many of whom are posting here, and have done so with very little drawdown, and yet I am "crazy"? And all this is "for nothing?"

I hardly even know how to respond to this kind of unintelligence.

Historical probability. Statistical probability. They have done it for as long as I have been trading. Now of course, they may all of a sudden defy history and stop doing it. Instead of coming back together they may split farther apart, and take all my money.

That's the risk we take.

i'm sorry... i thought you had a sense of humor Now really....you want to make money like that, start trading WTI. It jumps back and forth a great deal each day, ignore losses, cause price does come back to your entry and past, all the way into the profit. dont forget to double your lot size.

Dreamliner, when you buy EURUSD and sell GBPUSD, you buy EURGBP. When you sell EURUSD and buy GBPUSD, you sell EURGBP. Same goes for other crosses that you may trade. Now rather then opening a one lot position with a trend on EURGBP chart, you are opening a double lot position on EURGBP by opening one lot in EURUSD and another in GBPUSD. you are misguiding people a bit on this thread by saying you are hedging. In fact what you are doing is trading a very nice range market in a nice channel. You make money because price keeps coming back to your entry point, it goes past it and you take profit. Just open EURGBP, put a linear regression channel on, and see for yourself. You can make double what you are making. And you can use the price convergence/divergence to see which side to take. i hope i made it clear.

Oh please, don't tell me you're going there with it. The old "Buying EUR/USD and selling GBP/USD is really buying EUR/GBP." This statement is as old as Forex itself, and all the mathematicians try to get in on it and prove it, and thereby cancel this trading method.

This has been discuseed, and dissected, and debated ad nauseum, and I'm not being drawn into another debate here.

Feel free to start your own thread teaching people how you trade EUR/GBP by using the gap on EUR/USD and GBP/USD to do so, and I'll even subscribe to your thread.

This thread, however, is not for that purpose.
