Thanks, I certainly have set files But as an extremely lazy person I am always looking for simpler ways

Just wanted to share an interesting pivot point indi that I have found luckily here at FF.
It has all types of pivot points and fibs, I particularly like the daily candle in the background.

your .62 trix meter seems to be working fine too, the only change I made in the other template was to change some colors. In this one I didn't change any colors.

My first post on FF. Greetings from Australia.

Thanks to Indrek for starting the thread and special thanks to Gleneagles for his assistance and humour. I have learnt a great deal over recent weeks and really enjoy the MTF trading.

Question for Gleneagles regarding news.

Do you stand aside for both medium and high importance news or only for high importance news and if so for how long before and after.

Hi Staghead,

Red flag or high impact news only. I normally have a window period 30M both sides of high impact events where I will not take new entries. If I am already in a trade and in profit before the announcement, I may take early profit on a part of the trade and pull the stops in.

Drop in connection just after I placed the trades.

Profit targets are screwed up but trades are in profit.

I closed out the open positions early because of ISP issues.

GBPUSD
EURJPY
AUDJPY (order duplicated)
GBPJPY

Approximately 85 pips.

Its all good... I assumed it was because I switched between my live and demo accounts...

I have switched TF's in the past and it has fixed the problem... no biggie...

Long GBPUSD

Entry 1.6310
Stop 1.6285
TP#1 1.6335
TP#2 1.6350

Risk 2%
Profit 1.3%

I entered this trade and then when I entered the limit orders for the TP levels I entered 1.6235/50 by mistake instead of 1.6335/50 and immediately closed the position. So even though the chart doesn't show what the actual trade would have been, it did hit the first target. Chart does show my entry and errant exit.

Good example of how you really have to have a good handle on the trade platform. These kinds of entry errors can be costly. Luckily I am still testing this method on demo.

Thanks for posting your trades and charts.

Looks like all the pairs hit TP1/TP2 as a minimum depending on your fill.
There may be a bit of chop now until after ECB announcement.
