Well, I use Sir Glen system, looking at bigger picture being patient.

As far as indicators go, I will defer to my sig.

In the interest of fair information, these pictures could have been easily doctored or I could have opened a short and long trade at the same time. But the proof is in the pudding, take a look at couple of my previous posts, yesterday I made a call for short EJ 100 pips. Similar call for GU before that. I could have easily been wrong,...
May I ask you, what is this kind of orange MA in your chart? /looks like a LWMA

Seems you use momentum set to 14 ... some people use it set to 4 ... what is your experience with this setting?

I have an account with InterbankFX and my charts and indicators appear just fine, however on my account at Alpari when I set up a Swingman UltrasuperTrix MTF indicator in a second window, it does not show up

Here is what I would like it to look like, and the next chart is what it is looking like in Alpari

Anyone here able to post more than one trix with Alpari MT4

based on my proven 5 year complex custom system, which I am not ready to share.....

I would love to complicate things like someone we know

It was just making a decision when you reach a fork.

If you look at naked chart you will see the logic behind my long trade, I had to make a decision, if this is a retrace or trend change.

Yes, I noticed it. What I am asking is if you took these trades with the system that we are talking about in this thread. If you are trading on the basis of your intuition, your idea about the bigger picture and PA then it is absolutely fine but has nothing to do with MTF Trix system.
I just want to understand if we are talking about the same thing, nothing more and no problems at all.

Maybe you do not have the current mt4 build 225 with your Alpari platform.

A lot of the Swingman TRIX indicators refer to and take readings from one of his original indicators. This original indicator needs to be in your Indicator folder as well, otherwise you get a blank window. I posted it in post 1168 - it is called smSuper TRIX_v1.ex4. Try putting it in your indicator folder to see if it makes a difference.

It is called momentum trendcycle. I like trix 7, so I used mom 14 for more long term perspective.

I still don't know the answer, in the old days I would have thought it is a retrace once the sell signal appeared (specially after a successful big trade). Now I try to make a judgement.

By the way, I also would like to thank Indrek from the bottom of my heart for starting this thread and allowing it to evolve.

After hanging in a GU trade for 6 hours and ending with 0 result, I managed to make some late pips on EJ. And did it with indicators not naked charts

Why trade anything.? I just keep piling up profits..

In any Dollar rise, just load up on EURO like you got GOOG at

$100/share..

Don't need anything, Signal no signals.. Just SELL the DOLLAR

Thanks for your suggestion I already said what I think about trading with no indicators - it belongs to the nudists thread not here
What I want to say is that I also know and sometimes trade systems without indicators - breakout systems, hedging systems. But I keep them away from this place and if I want to discuss them I start a new thread
