GY and for that sake most of the carry/yen pairs are risk sentiment currency trade. That means that when investors are confident in the prospects of the economy, xxx/jpy tends to rise, and vice versa for when risk aversion sets in.

While obviously there is no objective measure of the amount of risk taking/aversion there is in the marketplace traders usually use one or several indicies as a proxy or at least an estimate.

The most common ones in use are things like DJIA, S&P500, YM, ES (index and index futures - you can use the Asian ones as well, they usually have a greater influence only during the Asian sessions though)

VIX is a common one used as well.
Some use the spot WTI Crude

US Treasuries can sometimes be a helpful indicator as well although realtime data for them is a little harder to find. Treasuries are very important because not only are they one of the more deeper markets out there, it is surprisingly also one of the more restricted ones as well. Only large investors/banks/funds etc directly invest in treasuries. Its extremely unusual to see retail investors pop in there and grab a few $100,000 notes. No retail participation helps cut out some of the crap seen in some retail flooded markets. That's not to say however that this market can't behave erratically though especially with the FEDs nowadays pumping hundreds of billions of new notes in everyday

i dont follow nikei or FTSE100 only forex,oil,gold,usindex and dj

i use the nikkei as well. As i said, asian indicies usually effect Asian session.

For the european session i use the DJ stoxx 50 more as a broader measure although i do have the footsie on my list.

i see !!! so where can i get MT4 charts of DJ, Nikkei, FTSE100 and so on?

not in IBFX MT4 platform....
