Thanks for the info. I had written down from the first post on this site to use an HMA 8-3-3 and I may be wrong as the info was removed and I think we have been kind of weaving with it a little: I will try yours 10-3-6. I like how it was moving in between the bricks. Thanks

It may be of benefit for all, if those who have NOT been able to make C4/Nitro consistently profitable to mention so. My efforts have NOT been consistent, but I've only been practising for a week. I do see improvement, however. Not knocking the system, my policy is "trust but verify". I can't be the only one who is not consistenty profitable.

Are people only posting their winners out of fear of ridicule or embarassment?

A bit of honesty at this stage will help determine if it's worth wasting our valuable time pursuing a pipe dream in this or any future related thread. Post your efforts, good or bad. It's the only way we can learn anything constructive.

It has yet to be determined without doubt that Edge's intentions are not honourable. In the meantime, I would encourage those who are decent, honest folk to pipe up and reveal their true results with the plans put forward. If there are very few bad results posted from those who have traded the plan for some time, then maybe it really does have merit.

Otherwise, if it is a pipe dream lets 'proof it up', so to speak, by posting our REAL results.

My C4 log is:

Wednesday 19th WIN
Thursday 20th WIN
Friday 21st NO TRADING
Monday LOST
Tuesday LOST
Wednesday WIN

A win is a 2% gain, a loss is -4%. You should also determine which 10K session is the REAL DEAL. Not much use posting one winning session if you've had 3 losing sessions the same day. My REAL DEAL session is the first session during the London/US overlap.

Early days. But it's a start. The log does not show around a week's worth of previous efforts which were inconsistent. Not sure if it's worth the effort posting charts. Will wait and see if there's a thread to post charts to, before commenting further.

I agree with you Chris. I make no accusations nor pass judgment. I do not know the facts.

Nitro has also been successful for me ....so far. may still need some refinement on the 75% mental aspect.

Should edge be banned?? Tough question.
I think we are all aware of what happened before... minus the actual facts.
With that knowledge, we can personally make the decision, now an informed one, whether to continue following edge's methodology or not.

WE HAVE BEEN WARNED! I get it.

I too have been scammed in the past, in other business ventures. Not really a scam, just me looking for the easy road and not doing my due diligence before plunking down my money. and it was a lot more than the few thousand being mentioned here.

In the end it was MY decision, I wasn't coerced or manipulated, I just didn't do my homework!!!

but clearly it's not the tool it's the craftsman (me)!

just now i had two good entries on GY and EY.

instead of sticking to the +5 i intended to let the profits roll. it is kind of hard for me to see all those bricks of the same colour and get the crumbs only.

mr. market taught me another good lesson.

in the end i kept the +5 in the EY (was still in time to get them) but lost -20 on the GY.

still can deal with the losses very well and also i lack some patience and therefor many time i take positions too soon.

still i think i am on a good path just a long way from Nirvana.

i'm 50/50 right now between winning days and loseing days, but my loseing days after looking over the trades have been my fault and not the set up's

What about opening new NITRO thread? I think that would be the best solution since a lot of folks here, including me, are very successful trading this system. I don't know who possible leader might be, any ideas?

While I perfectly understand "innocent until proven guilty" rule, it really doesn't make much difference whether technically speaking a crime was indeed committed.

The fact is that this individual traded someone else's money (yes - extremely poor judgment of folks who gave him this money), lost part of it and then closed the account without the knowledge of investors, disappearing with what was left.

I'm really disappointed; I thought he was "a real thing", really successful trader. I really wanted to believe in that. While I'm far away from supporting criminal activity in any form, some part of me would understand if he stole millions. But this individual scammed a couple of traders for a couple of grand!!! This is ridiculous, isn't it???

I really would love to see new thread committed to NITRO trading without any of this BS present in this thread. What do you think?

Any system with a Risk:Reward ratio worse than 1:1 is probably not going to make it for the long run. They might be profitable for a little while, but the question everyone should ask is: "Will I be around here after 10 years?"

Especially in scalping it's difficult to make it for the long run with a bad R:R ratio due to the "noise" where individuals and market makers are accountable for.

I also want to let you guys know Keith Brown is also Lohad, he logged off from his Edgetrader account and is now using the Lohad account. Just another scammer alert

I was very successful with the C4, but I use a certain kind of exit EA and just take what the market gives me. So I trade it differently, with the same C4 approach, but use the EA to get me out.

I think when you scalp, you should really be happy with whatever you get. That being said. Sciving out can really make some good pips.

I have been struggling getting the Renco candles. I may be making it too hard. I have been reading the sister blog with Indirek. He is using them, for some pointers. I was hoping Edge would continue.

That being said, I think the Renco has great merit. It is cleaner and really has all you need. I think. I am kind of stuck and working through that at the moment.

Don't you understand. It's not the system - it's the trader. The tools are just there to help you understand price action. Everyone talks about systems. Getting into a trade is easy. The difference between success and failure is knowing when not to trade.

I started with C4 and then moved to Nitro last week. I have been inconsistent until I moved to Nitro. But I believe I could be consistent on C4 now as well. Why? Because I have been staring at the charts for sometimes 16 hours a day and taking signals and non-signals. Mainly I have been watching price action which is the key. I have posted my good, bad, and ugly trading days. For the last 6 days I have been profitable and am headed that way today as well.

For the first time in my life my trading has been showing some consistency and profitability. I will continue to post if this thread is able to continue or if a Nitro thread is originated.

I have been here since the beginning. made the migration from c4 to nitro.

Went through all the indi changes etc.

I have found what works for me and since I started using my setup have had 8 straight days of +2%. My charts have been posted most every day.

Using both Nitro momentum indy and dx dashboard as double confirmation/ signal. Then I use PA and correlation to enter, with one eye on momentum.

PA is the key, along with momentum and correlation. I will eventually wean myself off the other indys. For now they still help me to confirm what I see going on with PA.

Try Edge's idea of removing all indys from your chart and just watching PA for a day or 2. really helped me to understand

I agree completely. I vote for chris B to start a Nitro thread .. maybe "Nitro .. the trading continues" or if not, I can start one.
We have some people in here who have learned a lot from Edge and maybe they can help continue to develop this methodology.

The whiners have won for now .. but we who have learned to trade with Edge's guidance will be the real long term winners.

Because of my Job I can only trade during off - hours in the next few month, so iŽll try to make the very best of it. We will see...

For all that happened, TG/CB and now Edge/KB, I will remember Edge as the person that brought about the awareness of Less is More! to me.
I do not have the facts, but if indeed he has scammed in the past, at least he has given to many others, including myself, a new way of looking at tradings, and I see many have atested to bringing in the pips using his methodology.
Not to mention TG/CB for generating the initial interest in the EURGBP thread that led to this C4 trade. As a result of which there are offshoots like MTF trix and a Poor thread.

Another thing I learn is, in tradings, as in other aspect of life, to THINK REAL HARD!
and yes another gem I read " Things are never quite the way they seem "

Just checking in and I nearly fell off my chair. Are you serious Artov? Are you for real? You have to be kidding me! Let me know how you came to this conclusion.... Please humor me you moron. Go ahead and read some of my posts under my "Lohad" name...... just check them out. I WISH I could be half as witty, half as articulate and use have the proper grammer that Edge uses.

Artov, what are you talking about?? R:R ratio is irrelevant unless you factor in the win:loss ratio. If you have a high W:L you can take more losses with a high R:R.

What noise? It's called the market. Start to think about probability.
