For its fourth consecutive monthly gain, the index of leading economic indicators rose 0.6% in July, following an upwardly revised increase of 0.8% in June. However, July's gain was below the consensus forecast of 0.7% from economists polled by MarketWatch.

BACK UP ... THAT IS A DROP FORM LAST MONTH HOW IS THAT GOOD NEWS ???? lol

but after a rise back to daily gann @ 159 area. . .

ok today market moved up due to leading indicators being .6% ... that is 0.2% less than last month yet they are saying this is bullish.

dj today ....lowest volume on an up bar in 8 months ( this year)..no demand , they just playing with news to get stock prices higher for options expiry , same with oil

one options expiry passes down we go

could be.. i'll watch my s&r levels/confluence with ma's to determine that. if it breaks I'll believe bear, if not i see higher levels possible especially above 9375. a shot to 9500+ is not out of range.

Here is my thoughts. . . but take it with agrain of salt. . .

Many traders are looking at the wedge for a break out of some sort - gd for u. . . but I'm looking at a close above 155.70 support area as I see gj going back to check resistance at the daily gann - not even looking at lower time frames at this point. . .

Daily gann sits right at guess what the 62 Fibo of this last move (swing hi/lo). . . also guess what else sits there weekly pivot at 158.70 area. . .

If you look at the daily closely we have not had much of a retrace since the fall 163 area. . . Right now I see 3 waves if we are to fall to 150/147/143/136 area we need a wave 4 up to at least 50 Fibo or 62 Fibo before heading south. . .

So many are looking at the wedge for a break out and will jump in once it breaks up to 157 area but guess what it will then retreat to check support at 155.50/156 area then many will try to short but then it will shoot up above 157 and head on to 158.30/159.35 area. . . That's what the lower TF's will do to ya (whip saw u). . .

Very simple chart I see. . . a 1hr close above 155.50 will be the 1st clue that we are headed higher. . . Once we complete this move higher it will be easy to project where the dn move will end with simple fibs I see a re-test of 147 in the making with a pit-stop at 150 area. . . then ultimately 147 then 143. . .

But trade yr chart take what I've said with a grain of salt this is just what I see looking at a bigger picture. . .

Also watch what gu and uj does over the next 16 hrs. . . (up. up, up, up)

could be an upthrust of sorts to your level , but todays volume being the lowest all year shows a very clear lack of interest , that only means they are waiting for options expiry to sell the crap out of the market

that 4 hour bear div on rsx did not break either on 3 day up move ... very interesting

my view also..................for the rest of this week i expect GJ to go back to 160 if we dont break down till the month end....from the 160 then we say goodbye down to 150....
if i am wrong market will decide....

I am in at 1.4249 target is just above 1.40 and if things looks juicy then 1.395 I may add at 1.43 if it gets there

hey Q and MALCOMB. do you guys still think that gyen will test 153.70 before the leg up to 158.30. i have been in a scary trade since yesterday with 200pips up/down(profit/loss) and i dont scalp, otherwise would have scalp it up and down (i usually get burnt scalping). i have a short around 155.4x
guys what you take on it????

I have no advise for yr trade but my opinion has been stated already as too where I see gj. . .

Traded yr chart, trade yr chart, trade yr chart. . .

I will say this. . . only a break and 4hr close below 154.73 will change my view otherwise I see 155.50 as the the 158.30/159 area by sunday/monday. . .

I think min 154.50 before any kind of up move .... 15 min shows sellers on rallies right now ..very clear. This is based on volumes . Also note that es touched 1007 today but there was a distinct lack of buying interest in the fx market to correspond to that

what I think is going to happen tomorrow is that alot of options were calls , and therefore these maybe exercised tomorrow , so there may well be a ton of selling in the stock markets tomorrow.

this will take gj down into the weekend

if we get a 15 min close under 155 then the 1-2-3 and fib extension targets come into play

high volume pivots gj are 155.19 and 154.07 ,

30 min support levels , 155.30 , 155 , 154.50 , 154 ,
60 min support levels 153.60 ,
240 min support 152.28

anything could happen in this market and a close above 155.90 will negate this analysis

china may bounce again ..... that would take gj up into London

i just traded my g/f and went long '' i said i went long ''

needed another one anyway - serious though we have a top dl at 162 and bot 154 no real vol in the market untill yesterday ( slight interest ) but untill we see a move best to sit a side imo
