looks like it may work know..

moving stops to Even dont trust this beast..

if 4h macd worked out well then we may see 154 again..

if we look at the big backgroud of this game , we read the news , we follow the trend , sometimes it bounce , most of time break , but at the end we r not more than followers , who control this game ? no one know who decide who put the rules ? am sure there is something we cant look at , something hidden ... there is no logic when we play a game
bref ... to win at the end follow the PA

Well, seeing the current price, negative, and I think that is correct,as this spending is running totally out of control! Gbp will pay a high price for that in the future!

What about the yen then, seems like the investors are thinking that the recession are over and are looking to a more high yield assets. Anyway, fundamental is not my virtue, perhaps you have a better insight to share with us..

The TV news reporting of fundamentals is largely rubbish.

Monday, market crash = 'People seeking safety of Yen and Dollar'.
Tuesday - market recovers = 'People buoyed by signs of recovery so buy riskier assets'.

Repeat as necessary depending on the market moves.

TV are big boys cheerleaders, everyone else is a puppet.

LOL... anyway we are not trading by the news but how the market thinks of the news which later turn out to be the outcome of the move in the market. We are the speculators, we don't have enough capacity to turn the market around. We only try to take some advantage by the so called "smart money" decisions in the market.

I do not believe real (big) investors do believe this recession is over, after all they are professional players. You can hear them on CNBC or Bloomberg all the time. It's all lies. They want you or me, the retail investor, make to believe that it is all over and that we buy stocks, eyes closed, and move the S&P up. It's all manipulation. Yen and us$ are being the "safe heaven currencies". Well it just depends in how far you could call it that way. With the current US economical climate I really dont think US$ is a save heaven. I think Sfr or Scandinavian currencies would be, but, that is the theme at the moment. But mind, all those high yield assets will come off once the stock market is collapsing. Personally I give it another 4 to 6 weeks. All retailers long and the pro's short. Coming back to cable. Well I think it is one of the most overvalued currency pairs in the world, same gbp/yen, although it is more a GBP story on its own. A acceptable level that reflects fundamentals would be. imho 1.35 and for gbp/yen about same levels, Infact it surprises me that a Euro isn't worth more than a pound as it ought to be! But politically that wouldnt be feasible I guess, if you know European politics. So the recession is far from over or perhaps it is and we ll land into a depression! It will take many years to come out of that. You just can't keep on printing paper money, thereby creating another bubble, a a solution to all problems. Beware that this "paper" isn't covered by anything except the promise of it's Central Bank and the more you print of it the less its value will have. Therefore beware of inflation and higher interest rates as a consequence! Btw also remember the Weimar republic in the 30s, History always repeats it self.

I agree with your points. Frankly, I believe the recession is still not over yet. But in this business, your personal opinion doesn't count. They are trying to make other people believe they are doing fine. That what matters. If they have enough people believed what they are promoting, I think it will be enough to markup the price, that's what they call it market sentiment. Even george soros alone cannot move the market, so they need a lot more people to do that, and I think that is exactly what they are trying to do now.

yup you got it, and I think, "they", are the Iluminati or Bilderberg group. Just try to make the people as poor as possible, so they will be slaves to the government of who they will be dependant!

America has been off the gold standard for decades, so the value of the money has been purely conceptual for a long time. The last thing the world needs is CNBC telling people the "truth".

A run on the banks and complete collapse of the consumer sector WOULD create a global depression. Life imitates art and art imitates life. The same is true of the global economy. It's virtual as much as it is real.

The situation surrounding the inflation of the Weimar Republic was the result of many factors rolling off WWI, so comparing the global economy to a nation state in a more primitive financial era is not entirely accurate. We have a much higher potential for alternative scenarios to play out as this unfolds, and bubbles can last decades, with minor corrections and stop gaps along the way to stave off disaster. Maybe for the rest of your life...

The deflationary decade in Japan was fiscally stagnant, but life went on normally for most people. The world could suffer a long term recession that hobbles growth, but it may not be the huge disaster some people are predicting. Having lived through 2 major recessions, there were doomsayers through both of those too. They bought silver, weapons, stock piled food, and ended up looking ridiculous when things picked up again.

at the moment, I trust the UTL of the bull flag still has not being broken. If I'm down to 100pips, I might as well take the profit first. Hate when the market behave like this. I am expecting the trendline to be taken out right after the news.. it has been another boring trading day... Hope everyone here are doing fine..

I cannot imagine complete collapse of the consumer sector, it is impossible unless world war part 3. Hopefully we don't have to live thru another world war..

Nothing collapses completely. Even in Zimbabwe you can pay for a bus ride with a chicken. By consumer economy, I didn't mean basic food and services. I was referring to automotive, technology, entertainment, garment industries, etc. which are the major drivers for most developed economies that don't rely on natural resources as their main export.
