Only if you placed it well below the line...in this case it touched but couldn't break the line and reversed over 46 pips!

Good point... lol

I was considering it earlier... if you needed to take the trade (?) but couldn't stick around to make sure it was fine, you could put a pending order in (say) 5 or 10 pips away to ensure that the signal candle had not found a S/R level that it couldn't get beyond.

Lets face it... if it is going to move 100 pips, it has to make it through the first 10!

Probably a lack of volatility too, at this time?

Trix certainly gives heaps more false signals away from C4 times... I have mine set right out at 14,3,2.0,2,1,3,6, and it still picks up 'falsies' on the M15 and below...

A trade has much higher probability during peak times. Much safer.

What are you thoughts Glen/Indrik?

What does this row of numbers mean? 14,3,2.0,2,1,3,6? It does not remind me of any indicator's setting...
And certainly we have to trade peak times, it is a basic rule of trading with any system. If you look at my chart then you must notice sth strange there - ATR(1440). This is exactly for the purpose. ATR(1440) means the average range of M5 candles during 5 days, i.e one trading week. Comparing ATR(6) to ATR(1440) I simply see the volatility. I usually do not trade when ATR(6) is smaller.

P.S. Time is now 6:06 GMT and both EU and GU just started to pick up the volatility according to the ATR comparison.

Those are just settings on the Scalper Signal indi...

Strange... What does Waiting_Time_Minutes mean???
My setting is - if to give the whole row - 12, 3, 0.0, 1, 1, 1, 0, 3, 6.

I started my trading exactly at the time when ATR(6) reached ATR(1440) and the first profit has been taken already
Long GBPUSD, break of signal candle high on H1 chart, without M5 involvement (of course, M5 and M15 match with H1 but I did not look for the entry on M5).
As I noticed and mentioned before - the break of signal candle is usually tradeable.

Not sure what waiting time is... I had assumed that it was the time between when a signal is generated, and when it is shown on the chart? Kind of a built-in safety buffer?

Safety buffer in minutes not seconds? Does not seem very logical... Besides, you have it at 2 minutes that is awfully long time...

The ccy`s are sitting right at the top of the trading ranges.

Consider taking out smaller profits until the range tops open up, it may retrace from resistance levels.

GBP has a key fundi coming up.

I took +20 as TP1 today and will move stop to BE in a few minutes.

I think the default was 2M, I just changed mine to 1M. It will probably only really affect the 5M signal.

Right, I took +20 on GBPUSD and just now +20 GBPJPY.

The others are a bit slow.

2 trades down +20

Anyone have problem with quick trail on this trade i set it up and was watching it closed half and locked on then a few second later moved the stop to -10 after it had already set to break even
