Microsoft is a good short in my opinion. The two charts hopefully show why. I am waiting patiently for my short to take off......hopefully that is!

I am still in my nzd/us trade. I did move my stop by 50 pips but I am just going to let it run. It won't hurt me if it gets stopped. I think it has a way to go.

I'm not debating about whether you should help Chris or not. Ive shown my gratitude to Chris and I have sent several emails to him recently thanking him for showing these methods.

I'm all for promoting Chris website. But that will be based on what Chris is teaching and not based on a pdf which hasnt even been released to private members yet. and definitely not on 'live calls'.

this is my previous pdf file i've posted couple weeks ago in this thread.As you can see through my posts,charts and the file above my trading thoughts mainly based on what Chris taught here,slightly different because of my "personality"..And second one will be more detailed.
Live calls for the people who might think it's been only "talk" here...and also to show that there are some people like me in this thread trade this system for real and making money -not fortune,but good enough to feel better-.

I havent even looked at the trade since I opened it, wonder if its still in play or not (im at work plus trying to let go and walk away)

Pairs hankering into position, alot of "(almost) Daily Pins" to "Conflicting Pins" on most of the majors, a string of presumably medium-to-high impact news releases scheduled the world over for today...

I'll be looking for a break of any opposing 'almost pinbar' to close-out many a countertrend order, with some scalping along the way, until this jalopy gets heaving back to trend - if it hasn't already.

Anyone watching this? Hoping for a PB CLOSE off the current Candle...........i also have Major S / R on that labeled Gray region and the Tails tell me something is about to happen.........................

update:

kiwi and cable shorts got stopped out at BE last night.

just closed my cad long for 175 pips, because after watching more than half of my floating profit dissappear on the other two trades, I wanted to have something to show for myself.

Tough break. But think of it this way, (and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS.) think not of what you gave back, but the idea that you followed the plan and had "no harm, no foul". I can think of nothing that feels worse than this - except of course taking profits at 30 pips, when it could have been 500!

As far as closing out the other trade (CAD), why not, you are right - you should get paid for some of it anyways.

So here's the question: What did you learn from this experience? I hope it's that it is possible to bag hundreds of pips......

These three trades were really interesting to me, because once they were into a good bit of profit, I got that nervous/anxious feeling I used to get when I was overleveraged, or just in a dumb trade.

We hear the stories about people who take too big of a position, and it worries them to death, but my MM has been really conservative, and I don't get spooked out over losing my little 1% anymore.

It was the fact that I was sitting on over 500 pips of profit that freaked me out. I was worried about giving it all back, and I was worried about messing with the trades, cause I knew I was the only person who could screw them up.Once they closed I even felt relieved.

Does anybody else have these problems, and if so, how do you deal with it?

It's funny actually, I've started opening much bigger trades in relation to my account size but only when price is breaking out. I had a couple of trades today at a quarter lot but the trick is to trade when the price is moving with momentum and then getting to break even straight away or shutting it down quickly if it reverses.

Re the nzdusd pin.
It was counter trend. I think Chris (and i may be wrong ) you said once that its not a bad idea to just set TPs on counter trend trade's.
Well thats what i did and took my 0.6% with me...

Ive seen on these trades that there's usually another chance to enter a few days later if it does break through (from almost the exact position you exited).

Now tonight im looking at a 2 day pin on usdcad. SL 150pips, TP possibly 200 pips. Mch more if it breaks south. Sounds great.

The only thing is i've no played a 2 day pin before so it'll be intersting!

Hi!
Just back from a wonderfull hollidays week in Norway, need to recover from unvelivable prices there...(I know, having monetary targets is the best way to lose)
The first trade I am considering is taking this 2 days pin long above 1.66
I like 1.66 is a PPZ and that it is with the trend, but dislike the MACD divergence...
Any opinions?

One solution is to trail your position behind little S/R areas. I am actually working on exit videos now.....

But if you look at the early part of this thread I have a few examples. The trick is to find the "blend" of letting everything run and tucking in behind mini S/R levels that makes you comfortable. Figure that part out - and you are dong well.

Hang tough, you are getting there. Be proud of having that many pips. You let it run - something 99% of the traders out there have no idea can be done.

You are aiming for progress, not perfection.

I hear your disappointment. And let me apologize for misspeaking about your recent trades, with the suggestion that I'd only move or trail my S/L on the same timeframe that I'd entered the trade. I actually meant to say what CW just suggested about using the mini-S/R levels to trail your stops (from the short timeframes) whether with the trend or not. Which brings me to something else I noticed about your trades: they were all (arguably) countertrend...

I'll wait and see what CW comes out with regarding Exits before making further comment.
