Gleneagles, I am very grateful for all your posts, in fact I would be delighted if you would start a thread on your methods
I have a template I use called "gleneagles" I have been inspired to go for larger pips.
I love the Edge C4 thread, but the RR is hard to get around, especially since every once and a while I make a bone head trade and lose 25 pips, so that means I need 5 trads (at +5) to just catch up
Here is a trade that I took that went +40
(inspired by your larger pip wins)

Indeed, why should we waste the very good system for taking pennies when real money is available 
But can you explain your trade a bit? Looks like you took it at the best moment but not according to the indicators... MA still green, Trix already red for some candles before... How did you do this wonderful grab

Nice to see you posting your trades here
But can you explain your trade a bit? Looks like you took it at the best moment but not according to the indicators... MA still green, Trix already red for some candles before... How did you do this wonderful grab
One of them is Irathi's method, which I call "long term" (see Irathi's post) for how she sets her indicators.
I then flip around between a few other templates.
At the time it looked like price was trying to break through yesterdays low (the yellow line) I have a handy indicator that posts yesterdays high and low
Irathi's method indicated a sell, it looked good on my other templates so I sold, price was moving quickly so I held on for the ride

Best is to try it out and see whether it works for you.
When you look at the setup that I started this thread with then its idea was practically the same as what I have now. I just had a small journey to discover new lands and continents in between and now I am home again I think, I will change the introduction to the thread according to the setup that I use now and intend to use in the future. Because it really works.

This is basically my system too.. focusing on 5 min charts only (when non renko 5 tic renko when renko LOL) 15 m and 30 m trix at bottom, dxtrade 3 111 for arrows... I am a long time fan of atr and adx so I use the dxtrade 9 with both still available on that.. but also add the adx and keep it on my charts..
