foreclosuyres running very high , more than 80,000 houses per month right now and by end of year hlaf of americans will have negative equity , taking the rate of bankruptcies up , 80,000 is something like 200 billion loss to banks depending on what you assume average mortgage to be. so that means that in fact q1 and q2 this year banks lost 100 billion , yet due to recent change in mark to market rulings this has not shown up anywhere

It might help to use two stochastic speeds as they sometimes help you to distinguish between a retrace and a reversal. Use it on many time frames. In this case the 5 stochastic moved up but the 14 didn't and more than often the 5 needs to come back to the 14. If the 14 starts to cross up then forget it. Longer time frames show a possibility but move to shorter times and a breakout for a good entry. Keep checking many time frames. I sometimes horizontal tile the screen to show 4 time frames on the same screen. Hope you find it useful.

Despite the severity of this fall, price still hasn't reached the 38% fibo from the last 147-163 up move. (157). The 50% fibo sits at 155.10.
Would be dangerous to go long when we're so close to the 38%.

Looking at the Daily TF, this move shouldn't be seen as anything more than a much needed retracement. Talk of tanking below 150 etc is premature. If we get there, fine, but there are fibo levels I will be watching first.

When you say fly kite, you think they'll raise rates?

I watch Aussie/Yen too and there is the same 38% fibo at 77.70. If GY breaks it's own 38% level, it's a reasonable risk/reward to assume AY will go down further too.
Daily in strong downtrend but by the time price reaches 156.50 zone (possibly earlier..who knows) 4Hr and below stochastics will all be at the bottom which often results in something of a bounce/retrace of the downmove. Just something to watch out for and to be ready if it happens....

156.50 reaches

Smaller time frames always have cycles within the next time frame up and so on. We seem to be in a strong Daily down trend so wouldn't trade up just now. That shouldn't be until we have had a double bottom, some consolidation, and wait until something like the 1 hour 14 CCI turns up or the Gann flips. It's just good if you can catch bounces and get the same bit of down trend twice. Depending on the strength of the move, retraces like to touch the 5m, 15m, 30m 5 or 8 EMA. .....Didn't bounce much off 156.50... lol...so strong downtrend just now....Also watch the direction of equities especially the S&P
