V 1.05 fixes a bug inadvertently created in V 1.04. See post #1 for details, and also to download this latest version.

Thanks for all the coding you've done for me and the members here...it is very much appreciated...I see you have an indicator called" Intelligent S/R". I clicked on it but could not find it...is it possible to post here?

I have been using Candle Identifier from lot of days now but i am having one problem!

Right now i hav just enabled Pin and Ib in settings and only 2 arrows over all.
But the problem is i don't get some IB labelled even if candle has closed and its a valid IB. (i havent as yet noticed with Pin bars..may be i dont look often at them)
I am attaching a live screen shot...latest in EU
I am using
-alpari mt4, 5 digit
- other indi's on chart are Display ccy info (yours only), Spread info, Time to bar close , Magnified Market Price V2 and Master bar indi
-Its 1hourly chart

Now another thing is ...say when it doesnt label it and if i close and restart Mt4...it labels it alright... i am not able to find where can be the problem...any clues and solution!

What happens if you either toggle timeframes, or edit the indicator (press Ctrl-I etc)? This should refresh the chart and have all arrows re-plot. Achieves much the same thing as exiting and restarting MT4.

Please recheck your parameters. The settings near the top of the list (everything above "___OUTSIDE_BARS___"). This applies to all candles. For example, if you have set MinBarHeight = 20 then any candles (including IBs) less than 20 pips will be excluded from consideration.

Are you using a parameter file? If so, anything in the file without a // at the start of the line will override the parameters that you enter in the indicator dialog box.

If you post your parameters on the forum, I will type them into my MT4 and see if I can reproduce your error.

Yes, Changing timings and reverting back also solves the problem other than exiting!

As regarding Settings (everything above "___OUTSIDE_BARS___" ) they are all default . I only changed BOTH alerts to false!

Below That, i have all arrows turned off except Ib's and Pin Bars!

Regarding Present file, i think its set to true by default ..i checked it out...But all parameters have been made null by "//"
So i think it doesnt matter...only settings in Indicator settings.. manually done should apply ...Right?


NOW another thing..smthing is wrong i think...i just logged back in and open my mt4 ...see the latest screenshot of same H1 EU..
Its a false label..i think..and i switched back and forth in time periods..and that arrow was gone!

what do u think is causing problems?

That is strange. Switching the time periods will delete and re-plot all of the arrows, and should fix any problem, at least until I find out why this is happening.

I was going to post a new version (V 1.06) soon. The V 1.06 code includes some new parameters and features, so I no longer have the source code for V 1.05 (the version that you are running). That makes troubleshooting even more difficult.

Any way ... a request... a field addition under IB settings, if you can!
Size of the IB in pips!
To be just denoted below/above the IB arrow (same color without any selection of colors)
I think, It can be never be >3Digits till Daily time frame , so wont be be Big mess on charts !
and Those who dont like it can turn on and turn off the setting!

If doesnt involve more problems.. kindly do it!

Done in V 1.06. Problem with incorrectly highlighted candles should also now be fixed.
Download from post #1.
These will be the last changes for a while. I need to address other work.

I have downloaded the new version and trying it..as far as now...its working nicely!

I know this indi will be the one with many versions due to its plethora of applications in various strats... Hope you get time for all of them..lol

Well dont really get the important idea (i dont know how important this is any way or its just another thing )...i have a question

Lets talk of one pattern only..(say IB's are Selected in settings only)
and i have selected the condition as
ShowFollowSameColor = FALSE
& a Green IB forms after a Green Candle

So as u said above "If ShowFollowSameColor = FALSE, the IB will not be highlighted."

Do you mean The indicator will not highlight that IB and it will be missed?

and what we have to do if we dont want to use these settings? Turn both TRUE?
