it was consolidating, wrong time to trade except for trade #2. but when there is no momentum, no pa - don't trade when there is no energy in the market. look for good "breach" of LWMA.

Darren,

Make sure the solution you are looking for to avoid some false entries today is indeed a viable trading solution and not a " curve-fitted " setup to filter potential bad trades. Run it through a simulator or visually backtest it at least before you let it loose on the market.

Exactly Sir,

I missed the bus and tried to jump on at every stop...

What I need now is a stochastic oscillator with alerts built in to go off whenever the line crosses and closes above/below zero.

Then I'll just listen to the baby monitor while I sleep.!

Yes Sir, I did visually backtest it and it produced quite a few less false trades.

Don't you favor the higher TF's?

my cart is showing 4 digits yet ibfx is five and i remember seeing five digits on it a few weeks ago then it went back to 4 for some reson.
i think MM_B1 not working on 4digit broker i did add a zero to tp and sl.

Great stuff! I always look at higher TF for sure, it is safer respecting the trend and it puts the odds in your favor immediately.

Just buy and hold today morning on 3 pairs

EU, JU, EJ will give you about 300 pips at least..
All this trading activity is nothing but noise and make your
broker happy.. Identify Trend and stick with it, don't trade..
EU alone moved at least 200 pips through the day..
I'll try different strategy tomorrow.. Trading all day make about
100+ pips for my broker and none for me so far.. Trading Trix on
5 min/ too slow.. If trix showing BUY it's means already time to SELL and other way around.. at least on 5 min chart.. It's behind all the action...
I glad I'm trading for 1 cent so far - 86 pips for today.. And my broker
probably made 100. IMHO..

To clarify...you have 2 Color changing MA's on... 1 @ 12, 3, 6 and the other @ 48, 3, 6 ?

You probably should be in Indrek's thread as in here we trade C4 on 5 min and nitro on renko bars. And we scalp for 5 pips.

There is no higher TF confirmation with Renko. It is PA based.

Sorry to disagree but LWMA48 as 4 x 12 still may act as "higher TF". We may, of course, name it in some other way... Maybe, higher dimension

As long as those deviations are not incorporated into this particular thread is fine. Would prefer the thread stay on plan set forth.

Big up day with all pairs for the most part. Anyone trying shorts was asking for trouble. Early and subsequent long trades in the pairs would have easily had a trader making goals as set forth.

I think we have seen enough deviations and new indicators and different plans at this point to discard any variation as being unproven at best. Not a one shows any actual backtesting results of more than 30 days at best. Even those failed to show maximum draw-downs based upon consecutive losses so cannot be validated at this time.

Need to stay on subject.

The only thing that can be interpreted as a larger TF on Renko is a larger brick size. Again, these are PA based. You will find no supporting evidence to validate your conclusion as they are not developed to act in such a manner.

Yes, thats really fine, but it is a 15 minute charts too. You get other results on a 5 min TF, isn't it?

I used M15 chart to compare with the other guy's M15 chart Would not be very logical to compare my M5 with his M15.
