Yes, as my EA closes the trade prematurely if either one of the Trix in your settings changes to the other side.

Is it 1 trade you had the default S/L [30 pips]

and the 2nd one you adjusted it to S/L 20-- you have a 2 pip spread on GU?

Interesting spread on the AY. Exceeds that of GY.

Regardless, a decent new set of 5's is attained. Even EU is in the mix as I realize many would prefer to trade this pair just based on cost factor reduction alone.

only +3 on GY because i have a 9 pips spread with this demo account...

oh yes sorry i can see that when i zoom back in and the price, making sence now. im looking for your inidi what post number was that at.

maybe edge would prefer i delete some non essential posts here just recently then to avoid too much clutter from the sceen shots to start this week clean or just leave it as is?

My GY chart Nitro doesn't have the LWMA touching any of the bars. It is set at 8, 3, 6.
Is yours different?

How do you guys deal with the possibility of the 2 min Renko data all of a sudden stopping to update? I've had many incidents like this and I did not even know it.. Also after lets say a 5 min interruption do the Renko bars refresh? Or do we need to make the 2 min chart again and reload it?
This is a real issue so I thought I'd address it..

Might as well show trades both manual and with the DX ea. Will be a good visual for all.

Put Renko on as an ea, not a script. And then you will not have the issue..at least I have never had the issue once I tested attaching it to my charts
as an ea instead of a script.

Try the HMA set at 8,3,3,true,2,0.

That is what I am testing on MT4 platform.

im thinking il report the trades in at 9Gmt+1 at night sound ok and my control test im using sl20and th ea's exit tp5 no trailing would that be ok?

For those with MT4 but have not purchased the Renko script, here is some data to at least get you started.

The attached zip file contains an MT4 history file. It contains 2009 Renko data for EUR/USD. I have been using this data for backtesting.

- The data was created using Tick data
- The data uses 4-digits (ie, it uses pips not fractional pips).
- Timestamps are in New York time (Eastern Time).
- Renko candle size is 10 pips
- These are special Renko candles in that they show the high/low price also. If you don't like seeing the high/low prices, well, I'm sure you can figure out how to make them magically disappear. The high/low prices are very useful in backtesting.

Unzip the attachment
Put the EURUSD9.hst file in your history folder
Open Offline Chart
Select "EURUSD,M9"

History files seem to be very portable, though I have not actually tested this history file on another MT4 installation. Hopefully this will work for you.
