My broker has a fluctuating spread-- are you sure your broker doesn't have this?

Mine fluctuates from 3-8 on certain pairs.

This has nothing to do with the EA.
You need the mentioned TG Spectrum Indi to show the TGSSC in my Info Indi.
That's why it's black and showing nothing!

But the EA doesn't use the TGSSC

I downloaded and copied the file to the experts folder. Restarted MT4 and it showed up on the list...but it is greyed out...and when I drag and drop or double click it I get DX Trade C4 EA v2 X..."X" but no frowny or smiley face.?

Any ideas are welcomed!

Actually been reading awhile, but got to say this thread's a little on the wild side for me--glad to see measures are being taken to correct certain issues.

I've been preaching for a while now that taking bites out of the market's the best way to go, and I'm glad to see people of similar thought.

You're not going to get every single pip out of the market--don't even try.

yes DXTrade says its stills -20pips once you input 20 were is stop loss and the spread is 4 might have been 5 at the time of trades that would explain it though, this is demo fxdd im sure it does fluctuate. so your using the ea and its showing the spread afterthe stoploss is it?

Go to Tools -> Options
Then click on the Expert Advisor tab
check all the main boxes and uncheck all the sub main boxes

Should work

The SL is including the spread... it's a net loss.
Same for the TP

No that's not how EA's work [or general trades]

The EA has [default] S/L of 30 pips--that's from the time it entered the trade. When an order is placed, you must pay to play the game, so if you watch closely, when a trade is opened, you're already in the red for the amount of pips the spread of that particular pair is. The EA is only counting the pips count from where the trade opened and the S/L was hit at 20 pips --PLUS the spread you had to pay to play the game.

No worries though. It's confusing for a lot of newer traders or for people not familiar with robot traders.

ok but heres anotherthing them last 2 trade in a/c history read
the same lot size but diferent profit, any qlues?

Not so!

If your broker offers such, or you set an account up with one who does it costs you nothing. A bit of research is needed to avoid early expenditures.
