question about order in Oanda

Is it possible to open 2 identical orders automaticly . If I buy 1000 units it would buy 2000 unit but on two different orders with the same stoploss

I think you could do it in a round-a-bout way. You should be able to open them in separate sub-accounts.

For sure, you can use FXManager to click just once to open more than one identical order. But then you have to open one account of yours, which you can't traded, and a couple of other people accounts.

If you open two identical orders, won't it show up as one position--amounting to the sum of both?

I thought he was trying to open two identical positions with the intent of having them remain separate, rather than opening two positions and having them automatically combined into one position. That's why I suggested using sub-accounts. I didn't see any mention of needing to do it with one-click.

I don't know what you mean by "opening a couple of other people accounts." Or what you mean by "one account of yours which you can't traded".
I'm talking about trading one's own account and one's own sub-accounts.

It will show up as one aggregated position in the Positions-tab and as 2 individual trades in the trades tab (which can also be individually managed). But it will require more than one click(aka not automatic). There is an Oanda platform guide and a demo account, so unless the OP is reading-impaired or something it should be easy to figure things like this out on his own.

I had that problem sometimes ago when my friend asked if he could piggy-back my account. I didn't want it to blend with my own, it's damn more work for accounting, so I talked to Oanda's rep about it.

Using sub-account only means I have to do everything twice. Place order for one account with one click, and another click to place the same order for the sub-.

Using FXManager means I have to place myself as a money-manager, with my own account serve much like my bank account. It's where Oanda send commission or profit-sharing (as agreed between manager and client) from client's account. I can only trade my client's account, but not my own. So, using FXManager, if you want to trade two accounts each time, you have to open two other accounts (which aren't yours at all) besides your own account (which is untradeable).

I asked them specifically if I could open only one other account (my client's) and trade both my own and his. But Oanda's rep said "can't do that."

Then I asked if I can open a sub-account and treat it as another client's account. Same answer.

It's a manager's account and client(s)' account(s). Manager's is untradeable, only client's.

A manager can be his own client. Simply click your FX Manager invitation link and join your own fund.
