I was looking at EU and it went up 160 pips, UJ fell about 150 pips and GU went up more than 200 pips. So the common factor in all these is the USD, what caused such weakness in the last few hours?

Based on the fundamentals today, GDP is out now and the market will take this news today as a bullish bias for next month..

GJ PA been holding up above the 157.00 level, so all the market PA will follow the trend and their market friends to pump this up higher..

This is all true but thats not to say I think, that there has to be a pull back in the very overbought markets before much more of a big up move. The traders on the floor are openly talking about it as well and think it really needs to happen soon. We shall see .

you know why GY didn't climb up at all after GU today because it smells that comeback is coming

2 more hours till monthly candle closes. doesn't look very bullish to me so far ...
if we get a close below 156.54, it would be the first month to close lower than previous candle this year.

p.s. later edit: i meant, a close below 158.54.

Anyway, the daily UTL is broken, the minor weekly UTL is broken, the monthly maybe be the factor for next month if it close as a pin bar or doji candle..

2.5 hrs to go for any good PA...

The last hour will tell how this month will end..

With only a short while left in the market for the month, I thought Id post something for discussion, or not. It may speak for itself.


Doji and Trend

The relevance of a doji depends on the preceding trend or preceding candlesticks. After an advance, or long white candlestick, a doji signals that the buying pressure is starting to weaken. After a decline, or long black candlestick, a doji signals that selling pressure is starting to diminish. Doji indicate that the forces of supply and demand are becoming more evenly matched and a change in trend may be near. Doji alone are not enough to mark a reversal and further confirmation may be warranted.

lets see .. recession is over all over news again .

the markets went up based on FUMES !!!

of course unemployment claims ongoing dropped this month .. 16 weeks ago they were all time high in most states you can only claim for 16 weeks .. then you are on your own !!!!

note that unemploiyment claims have been progressively higher last three months.. EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE IGNORING THIS.

earnings all beat eps ... great .. my sons lemonade stand could beat BOA 27 cents per share eps expectations . Why BOA doing so well they cry about Tarp fee and closing 10 locations. and why if banking sector so great and recession over have 64 !!! yes 64 banks closed this year ...that is liekly equivalent to ALL bank closures in last 10 years in a 6 month period. Not only that most companines revenue down 30 % year over year ... really great for business that is

VISA had double profit this year .. not hard to work out why ..... those with out jobs are falling back on credit cards to live .... and liekly those with jobs are also . How else does VISA profit go up ?????

all the bad news being ignored right now is the perfect storm for market tankage within a 6 month period.

do people think that US will keep printing money ? what is worse delftion ( aka Japan ) or inflation ? they are not even getitng dividends from the companies they gave money to under the tarp , as the companies cannot afford the dividend . If they cannot afford the dividend does that mean that 460 billion of tarp money will never be paid back .. great investment for tax payers of the US !!!

here are 2 scenarios for DJ .. I vote 7500 ... october / nov this year

But did you mean 158.54 instead of 156.54

158.54 is what my June close indicates

Usually I never leave trade open.. unless its a swing.. over the weekend.. have a sell from 158.30.

4 hr short term reversal

1 hr short Signal

Daily evening star or Spinning Top.. Dont know what that will do yet.. have to Open a BOOK.

Monthly...hmm.. PIN BAR= BULLISH.. OR A Hammer.. looks Bullish to me..( Next Bar up or down is gonna be HUge if not another

Doji).. looks Like they wanna take Dow to 12000...and Up

Question when they Ban Shorting... who in the right mind will be Buying.. or even Trading??

it is a dragonfly doji indeed. if it does what its supposed to do then it should be down from here, its a bearish sign not bullish as raza says (all doji's are reversal signals which in this case means it is bearish). but thats a damn big IF.

also 1.6830 in GU is the 50% retrace from the big drop, could be resistance, if it breaks then up we go.

I hope it is bearish I am short and planning on keeping it....Now if you look at the Monthly chart the Bottom Candle you see.. at that time too people were saying Bearish Doji.. Look what Happened we are 4200 pips up from there... This looks like an intervel... short break for Bull.Iam expecting it to be at 192xx by Year end.. from there Tank.

I am sure you have seen this kinda PIN BAR even on 5 min chart.. and Market takes off from there. I posted a Chart before... here you go... of course i could also be wrong.

i hope its bearish as well, ive also got stuck in a short, although i dont seem to have malcolms ability to read where its going so im usually wrong
